  9. I love my bike. It has two of these. They go round. I hate scraping them on kerbs. The energy you use pedalling is miniscule compared to the distance you go. Unless you want to go uphill. Cheerio!

  10. pedals as in effort as in bikes and pushing and moving and knees that are burning as opposed to the petals of nature the ones who are pure and calm and only burn you if you think of the story behind them and whether or not something greater truly did cause them to exist. it burns to think about it.

  11. humans have to legs, we’re bipedal. I think of my bike and how it has two pedals, but somehow the bike pedal doesn’t make me thing of two legs…i wonder why? What does pedal mean anyway? I wonder what the root word it. I know in Spanish foot is Pata, that starts with a “P”. I bet they’re related. That’s all I got on this word.

  12. bikes make the world a fun place to be in. if we all used bikes instead of cars we would do the world a favor. we would do ourselves a favor because we’d be much mpore healthy. i remember loving my bike as a kid and i would spend as much time on it as i could. i stopped when i got my driver’s license, but then in college we’d get high and ride our bike and it would be so awesome

  14. People work with tools. Sometimes, these can be considered extensions of the body. Some are closer to the self than others. Socks, for example, are quite ‘ego-close’. What about a pedal? It seems to be somewhere in between. You only touch it when riding a bike.

  38. Pedal=bike. My friends taught me how to ride a bike. My dad tried to teach me but I couldn’t cause he would yell and put so much pressure on me. I love my friends, it was so amazing when I finally knew how.

  39. a pedal is something that you use in drums. it’s used to create sound with the bass drum. without it, you can’t play good music with the drums. you’re gonna have to kick the bass drum without it. you can also use two of these if you’re playing goth music. pedals are awesome!
