  10. i have very little of it, especially at work where people drive me nuts. patience is for the virtuous, the godly, heavenly beings – a place where i am not destined to go so why bother trying to change my spots?

  14. Every single time I try, it seems to backfire. Except last week when I was stuck in line at the DMV I had a breakthrough. It was absolutely horrendous. The old me would have started fuming only after ten minutes: fidgeting, huffing, exhaling loudly, grumbling. The old me was boiling up. But now, the old me was being successfully held at bay.

  16. Patience? Ha! What a laugh! It’s something I only have with my art. Not with people and especially not with little urchins who love to repeatedly do the exact opposite of what I’ve asked them 4 or 5 times to do just so they can see mom lose it. I’m convinced that’s why they do it. I’m also convinced that God or whatever deity is out there is enjoying a huge belly laugh because of it. We’re her daily entertainment.

  22. I have little patience, particularly for queues. I hate standing in queues. I hate queues in banks where they have notices which read ‘average queuing time 3 minutes’ when everyone knows that it’s completely wrong because they’ve all been waitng for ages.

  29. Patience is the one thing i know we all need but i have never wanted. It is really useful to have like waiting at the dmv and the like. But what it takes to learn is frustrating.

  30. Having patience is something not all people are good at. Getting on someones nerves is becoming entirely too easy and those who listen faithfully are becoming harder and harder to come by.

  31. IS LIKE the suckiest thing in the world because what I HAVE learned is that patience is something that the meek have and the powerful dont. But at the end of the day do you want to be meek or powerful? See. I thought so.
