  2. Let me do my own thing now,
Cut the chains that bind my hands,
Let me follow my own way now,
Let me travel these desperate lands.

    Find beauty in the forsaken,
    Let the grass to grow,
    Follow me, my dear,
    Threw the valleys low.

Let me walk my own way,
    Never to be alone,
Let the follow my own path now,
And see how much I’ve grown.

  3. there is a path that leads one to his greater understanding of all things. I see that man wallowing in the straits. He cannot get up to look at his tired hands. He cannot see the eminent justice of his life .. Why does it always have to be so hard to see your own accomplishment?

    by Lance on 10.25.2008

  6. i saw a path in the woods and decided to follow it. It was a very long path, took me across streams and into the forest. As i walked along the path, i saw a rabbit that was eatting a lot of the grass. The rabbit suddenly saw me and ran away. I continued down the path and at the end I found a little house.

  10. Who makes a path out of sand? A garden path made out of fucking sand? What, were there house guests saying, “Oh, it’s been a lovely evening, but I just didn’t think there was enough sand in socks.” It’s just in between your toes, the grains rubbing your skin away, it’s more irritating than genocide.

    by Jordan on 10.25.2008
  11. To define a path is to limit yourself to it–more can be found in the brush off to the side. “Path” implies you are going somewhere, rather than being somewhere.

    by uvirith on 10.25.2008

  13. I’ve been infatuated with the kings of leon since I saw sex on fire. I loved them a lot before…BOTT was pretty much a sacred record to me before I’d even seen SOF…but now it’s getting insane. In a good way. I love Caleb’s tiny, tiny hips. I wish I could drum like Nathan (or at all). Jared was staring at my general area at the show in SF and he looked so intense and I wish I knew why…I thnk people behind me were siezing or somehting…Matthew looks like a little boy. anywho. They’re awesome. But I wish I could have as much fun as they do. My life seems so boring after the show, and rockstars like them get to do this everyday…I’m jealous, but I’m not, cuz I know I could never handle that type of living…Guess I’ll have to find my own way

by This has nothing to do with Paths I have no friends and no one to talk to so I need to get this off on 10.25.2008
  14. this path is so different from the one I knew before it’s changed and you’ve changed, so I guess we’re going somewhere different now?

    by Jayant on 10.25.2008
  15. I am really confused about the path that I should be taking in life. I think of a dirt path that maybe goes along the mountains, through the valleys, through the deserts at times. I would love to just walk along a path the rest of my life and see the world and never have any true responsibilities. Just walking.

    by kelly on 10.24.2008

  17. the path led to the top of a hill where sat the guru, patiently awaiting the one true student. Thereupon I sat out, not to acheive enlightenment, but rather to become it. It was a slippery slope.

    by Dave on 10.24.2008
  18. A path of enlightenment, each step pushing through the dark and clouded density in ignorance. The quicksand tripwire, the trapdoor snare of stupidity. With each step the gravity diminishes. With each step the oxygen enriches us. With each step images increase in vividness.

    by Ron on 10.24.2008
  19. the path is more important than the destination, we are told that so fucking much, but I don’t believe it. I once went to a trip to six flags with my dad, his ex, and my half sister he had with her. It was less than two hour car trip but it felt like fore ever. Once we got there me and my dad split up and had a great time, but we both didn’t want to get back in that car. them bitches were crazy.

  22. I took the path less followed. It mightn’t have payed off for Jeff, but it sure did for me. You see I was told not to take this path, but through sheer stubbornness I did.

  24. As I was walking along the path I realized that I had never been there before and would never be there again and I wondered how many of its small subtle beauties I was overlooking, simply ignoring. Going through life, how many things do we miss? and is our life not unlike that path? Something that we can only walk once? And how much do we miss? And how many of us notice?

  25. I’m on a narrow path, you’re running through the field, you smoke the flowers wild, and never swear to yield. I can’t help but love you, though I’ll never have you, but all the while I’ll watch you run, while you’re still in sight.

    by Louise on 10.24.2008

  31. I follow at least one different path every day, they all lead me to places I’m not supposed to be, but no one ever yells at me so I suppose it’s okay. All paths seem to lead to you, I noticed, and you never seem to be lead to me, I lead myself to you, always to you. I rather hate it, I wish you would be somehow lead to me or would ever make an effort to be lead to me, it’s rather annoying actually, but I still love oh so very much I feel I am rather pathetic.

    by Kelsey on 10.24.2008
  32. A path is a way which you must chose. It will split into many other paths, leading to unknown mysteries. Some will turn into a dead end, some will lead to success, some will help you realize who you are, and some will destroy everything you ever had. Chose your path wisely.

    by Pavel on 10.24.2008
  33. a path, a journey. there may come a fork in the path but we must make the right choice. dont look back, keep walking, keep focusing on walking. you cannot walk the path with both legs trying to go different directions, you must decide one way to go and stick with it. walk, carfully.
