  1. Measuring flour. It’s really not as hard as those home economics teachers make it out to be. I never sift. I never level. I estimate and really, I’ve never had problems, even with the bread machine, which is a touchy appliance.

  7. You measure a plentiful amount of things. Courage can be measured by one’s deeds or actions, and cowardice by the lack thereof. The measure of a man is no different. A man without courage and respect is nothing. The same goes for anything else in life. If not measured, people lose track and sight of everything important. Although it seems ridiculous, everything should be kept track of to ensure that nothing is left out when being judged or put on the spot, say for a job interview. The interviewer wants a clear view of the potential employee.

  11. He loves us. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that. If only the amount those words have been uttered could be measured in some sort of device. But of course there is no such thing. The problem is that I don’t need to measure how many, I just want to know if its true. If I get out my tool chest will you create a device to measure the authenticity of this very phrase?   16. I just did this word, and I don’t want to do it again. Life is too short to repeat the same things over and over again. I want new, rich, exhilarating experiences. So I’m going to forget my ex, and not pine after guys like him. I already made that mistake, had that experience. Time to move on.

  17. Hey. so yeah, I haven’t measured my attitude in a while. I just realized how wrong I’ve been the whole darn time. It sucks now that I know. If I could just control who I am and be happy, then maybe things would clear up a little bit.

  21. i have to measure whenever i cook. but that’s all the measuring i want to do. but you know what? i’ve been trying to measure up to people my whole life. i also come up short. i just want one time where i am the best at something or someone thinks i’m the best for them so i can stop measuring. END THE MEASURING. for real. but if everyone is measured then i don’t have to worry about myself because everyone feels that way.

  35. It was hard not to want to run out into the cold night air and scream at him from the top of my lungs. Sitting there, I could measure the silences, his long stares, and my awkward replies.   39. This thing is measuring 60 seconds off of my life. I can usually get a pretty bunch of stuff in here, in these 60 seconds. The other times, those that no one measures – not closely – I waste them so.. FAST! I think I just found the way to not-waste-time-anymore.
