I was walking along the shore feeling the sun in my hair and the wind on my legs. I came across a small boy eating a mango. As I walked closer I could hear his small voice singing. It was like an angel, this small boy sitting in the tide eating a mango, singing about life. I knew at that moment what paradise meant.

The mango was just a random little symbol of thanks from one of the other kids in the show who just felt like it was something good for a gift to me. I don’t see why I was the one to recieve the gift. I’m playing the antagonist, so I can’t even FATHOM why I was recieveing the gift.

Mangoes are sweet and juicy and they make great margaritas. I am not a huge mango fan, at least not to eat them alone. I guess I like them best combined with another taste…like in a salad or desert. Not my favorite food but ok.
By Cassidy on 02.23.2011
sweet and juicy, flavors drip down my lips. Soft tissue of sublime sugar, a ball of orange light, hanging from a dropey branch. Mango icecream, mango lassi, mango candy, mango mango…

The best fruit ever to grace this planet. Lots of memories. Makes summer bearable. Nothing like throwing rocks to get that big one down.

fruity, horrible as juice, but delicious when raw freshly cut nomnomnom :) I prefer necterines to mangoes :) where the mango? haha bad joke said by dad makes me chuckle him and his bad jokes. things like there isnt MUSHROOM in the fridge or “oooh and escapee” as a pea falls off his plate ¬_¬ .
By Tegan on 02.23.2011
we must eat these mangoes like monkeys might, tearing apart the skin, letting the ripeness drip to our elbows, ignoring the stickiness it creates on our skin and hair, sucking the pulp from the seed until there is nothing but an unrecognizable jewel that we toss back and forth for the rest of our lives.

she piked a mango from a tree outside, that was an advantage of living in Hawaii you got fresh mango’s every day. she bit into it sweet and tender as always.
By Anna on 02.23.2011
The taste is so sweet it reminds you of summer. The tingle on your tongue as the juice squirts out from under your teeth. The smell in the air, as your sitting on the grass. The sun has never been so bright.

I like mango’s, they taste super sweet. They make me think of islands as well, i’d love to be on a tropical island right now. If i could pick an island it would be Fiji, i’d be chilling on a black sand beach watching the sun come up. But no i’m stuck in this cubicle nation.

It’s tasty. It has a beautiful yellow color. It’s hard to know when it’s ready to eat. Sometimes i don’t like how it feels in the mouth although i love the taste of it!

mango oh mango. who knows why you sit there, enfolded in a capsule of flavoured contempt. i dislike the way you glare at me, your eyes aglow with the charms of sin. when my taste buds singe with the flavour of hell. you are to blame.
By emma on 02.23.2011
super sweet, i used to favorite it but ripe mangoes always makes me throw up.. I’d go to the unripe ones and sour tastes really good. lol..

I sat down at the table, and held a juicy mango in front of me. I bit into its soft flesh, but the taste wasn’t right. It was bittersweet. See, the mango tasted great, but it squirted me in the eye. Oh Mango, I’ll get back at you someday.
By Lincoln G URL on 02.23.2011
Mangoes are best eaten fresh. I peel them with a potatoe peeler, stuff the flesh into my big gapping mouth and lick the juice from the length of my arms…… just magic ….. alternatively I poach slices of mango with lots of chilli powder for something different with my ice cream.

The color, the taste, the dripping fruit as I cube it into a bowl, the stringy seed I suck dry, all of this in February as snow flies outside the window brings an early summer.
By miki URL on 02.23.2011
it’s always the mangos. the mangos always get you. you think you want nothing to do with the mangos but somehow they call you towards them. their sweet smell, who can resist? they just lay on the table, counter or what have you just tempting all passers by. this has to be one of the best fruits in the fruit kingdom, no? what else is juicier.
By soj URL on 02.23.2011
Mangos are pretty fruit. Very sweet tasting, very good with spicy food. I’ve never had a mango, but I’ve had them in salsas and with spicy foods and they taste pretty good. I wonder what they’re texture is though. It makes me want to eat an actual mango. I wonder if they’re like an orange.
By Tara Roberts on 02.23.2011
The taste of mango spreads throughout my mouth. The sweetness moving from taste bud to taste bud making them melt with the wonderful taste. And suddenly, with this sweet taste in my mouth, I am back on the beach in your arms.
By MelissaWrites324 URL on 02.23.2011
is it ever possible to eat a mango without dripping its juice everywhere? the trail of stickiness slithering down your arm to your elbow, dripping on your knees(and your favorite tights are ruined!),and your lipsticks would be long gone by then. I would like you to try my mango. It is an invincible, self-contained, confident mango you won’t ever regret eating. Clean mango is happy mango!
