When the postman brought the dog to our door, I could only think of how unlucky we were to get a dog that was the worst behaved in the neighborhood. I moaned and complained about the dog from hell for months, until my husband said to me, “Admit it; you love him.”
winning the lottery. going to the beach. having fun with friends. kissing the love of your life. getting successful in life. graduating college. petting a new born kitten. smiling. watching the northern lights. seeing a shooting star. meeting your inspiration.
Lucky was the name of my prized elephant. I won him at the circus one day in a game of beer pong. I named him lucky because he almost was killed by ninja assassins.
Often times people hear this word form the mouths of the envious. “You’re so lucky!” they shout. It is a rare sign that things are going your way when you are lucky. It is something that should be cherished. It should be reveled in. Enjoy your good luck, and forget your bad luck. Then life won’t seem so bad.

I liked it when I was younger but now it just seems stupid— just like everything else they play on the radio these days. How about Kesha? All of her songs are about drinking and partying. No wonder our nation’s high school graduation rate is so low.
luck. i guess i never thought it existed. all i can think to say is that i never really believed in it, because i never really wanted it. all i need is my own streangth. i dont need to get lucky and get out of situations. because going through hard times is what makes me stronger. makes me who i am. which is someone im okay with.

One day I was sitting in a diner and the phone rang and my mom answered. And it took a while to register what it was. Then it dawned on me that there was a match. I was lucky, and someone else wasn’t.
I guess I am lucky. Mostly because I was asked to go to disneyland on a trip that I shouldn’t have been able to go on. Because of that trip, my life changed. I met so many new friends, have an amazing boyfriend, and became part of the marching band. I have a great husband, a close to perfect son, wonderful parents, my grandparents are in their 80’s! I have been lots of wonderful place, I am very healthy. I am very capable & love to learn. I’m feeling Lucky. He’s got a few bumps now that he’s old, and some scabby mange that’s never quite healed up, but on the whole, he’s doing well. Kisses.
I am so beyon lucky to have someone like him. To what this statement sounds of, you may think I am describing a ‘boyfriend’ or a ‘friend with benefits’. However, I am decribing what I consider to be my best friend, even though we are mistaken otherwise. He is intellegent, loyal, commical, and there to have my back with everything.
