  4. “Where is it?”

  10. a loan is something bloodsuckers from a bank give you in order for you to do what you want in this world as far as a career and living goes. In american society a loan is a neccessity. If you arent careful a loan will bite you in the ass and if the bankers make bad loans we end up in the situation were in now.

    by Pcrow on 01.01.2009
  11. I don’t want to need any more loans for anything in life. I want to buy cars with cash, pay off credit card “loans” and even get my mortgage paid off. Loans hang over your head like a cloud of doom. They start out as a blessing and turn into a nasty obligation where the fun wore off years ago. I don’t want to need them anymore.

    by casey on 01.01.2009
  12. A loan was given to I, I smoked it all away. The car payments were due, so I flew away. So far away nobody could reach me.

    by Bill Shears on 01.01.2009
  13. well some people need money, other people have money. When you have money and don’t really need it you can get a loan – but only as long as you can prove that you don’t need it. If you do in fact need the money, then they will not even consider giving it to you. This is the basis of modern banking. The less you need money, the more is given freely to you so you can spend it on other things that you don’t really need. Like big red cars shaped like penises.

    by Tom on 01.01.2009
  14. to get stuff from someone,, probably a bank,, probably money… many you’ll just end up broke after this.. then what? I don’t know. The economy is in the gutter and loans is the last thing you’ll want to consider.. You should try cutting back on the $ you spend.. maybe pick up a second job… maybe give up on consumerism.. run away and become a freegan!

  19. I need a loan to buy a car. I need a car to get a job. I need a job to get money so I can pay off my loan. And buy gum.

    by eva on 01.01.2009
  20. Loan . . . it seems like everyone in the world wants a loan right now. Only they are calling them bailouts. The banks want a loan from the government. The car industry wants a loan from the government. I am surprised that Ed McMahon has not asked the government for a loan. And what is the guarantee that the loan will be repaid? There isn’t one.

    by Caroline on 01.01.2009
  21. yeah i guess i dont really like loans all that much. it reminds me of a previous job at state farm in which i felt incompetent of the work i was doing but had such little caring that i just made it work. idk. i hated that job.

    now can you?

    by Dayyy on 01.01.2009
  25. your life is just a loan from God
    a suicide mission for him
if ever you chose to not believe this true
    you have lost everything
the only way to gain it back is through him
and who can resist this perfect reality?
no one in their right mind
    no one…

    by Dayyy on 01.01.2009
  26. so everyone wanted one of these things
for homes bigger than they could afford
and cars more frequently than they could handle
and trinkets that lost their value upon touch
and music that they grew tired of
    and other things…and eventually
the loans went for food, bills and interest
and the banks started turning their loans
    into nothing
and the people cried massive tears…

  27. that’s one of the things i hope i don’t have to get this year, i’ve heard horror stories about those.

    d( ‘-‘ d) happy new year!

  28. a way of commiting yourself long term to short term needs. You will inevitably end up spending far more than you b udgeted, and the buggers are making money out of your inability to pay for what you want now. I think loans are a baaad idea. Why did I get a mortgage?

    by fay on 01.01.2009
  29. I need some cash, I really do. It’s a fucking mad world when that’s the only thing I need right now. I don’t need love, I don’t need music and I don’t need philosophy, I just. I really need cash. And I am not really sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, that the world can be summed up in four words, all style and no substance, some need for something that God didn’t use and neither did the animals. I am a person in need and homeless in the ways that count.

  33. in order to get my new house, I will have to get a loan. But, is it the right thing to do? Is it vanity? What makes me want this new house? How do I think that it will really improve my life? The more things we have, the more stress that puts on our lives. Am I willing to make life more stressful by making it better?

    by Jennifer on 01.01.2009
  34. I wish I could have paid a loan back really early. Instead, as a young mom, I guess I accidently paid the loan company the total of my our bank account and they wouldn’t send it back. It was very, very upsetting. However, that was certainly a long time ago. Probably around 40 years ago and long forgotten by everyone else involved. I really enjoyed this exercise.

  35. Loan. The word of greed and possible deception. Loan means giving something temporarily, yes, but quite often, that something is never returned. It is an ugly word. The only proper substitute is give.

    by Bill on 01.01.2009
  36. Yesterday, I just made a loan to buy a new house. It won’t really be “my” house, in fact I should say “our”. Because yes, even if my parents don’t agree on this relationship, it will be with my girlfriend.

  38. Loan…a dangerous word in these times,
    a dangerous idea always.
Loan, lend, it leads to owe.
    There are some debts
    that can never be paid;
    some interest that will
    just keep piling up.

by Kristin K. Ross on 01.01.2009
  39. Loan sharks obliterated my childlike idea of serenity. I was never safe. I was never alone. A constant barrage of fear and insecurity followed me like a nightmare i could never awaken from.

    by Kristin on 01.01.2009
