My lenses hurt my eyes a lot.. the ones on my glasses that is. They sort of make everything too bright and sharp. And even though I have to wear them to drive, they make me so freaked out that I often start screaming behind the wheel.
I sat there with the camera in front of my face, twisting and turning the dials on my lens trying to find the perfect balance of focus to see the gleam in his eye clearly, just a perfect focus on his beautiful smile. I kept fiddling right up until everything came clear, and as I looked at the boy I loved through the camera lens I nearly started crying. For I knew this picture would have to get me through weeks of not seeing him. With the help of a lens, I captured everything I would want to remember of seeing him, and that is what gets me by.
Through the lens of my camera I could see his smiling face. Not quite looking at me yet I know that it was a response to what I had said. The most beautiful thing I had ever seen, and it was all captured through a lens, a moment frozen in time that I will never forget.
a viewfinder to the world, it’s my eye that sees you through the tinted glass. This glass, this lens, is so clean and pristine, it’s definition sharp, the wonder of the world in my hands.

ugh, this makes me think of glasses and how i hate having to wear them. I wish i could get eye surgery, but the thought of lazers in my eyes really freaks me out, i mean, what if they start going haywire and then my eyes are screwed forever. at least with glasses and lens i can see the world for what it is and not what everyone wants it to be.

lens is not a popular word around here. wait, i wanted to say, its not used very often by people. we have some photographers around here who use it all the time, but for us normal folks, its just another expression. we dont use it very often.
filthy smoke appeared and I wondered if It was because the director chainsmoked thoughout the entire shot. After a while we covered our mouths and went outside to take big gasps of fresh air. Shit, it was so cold outside!

A lens to the past opened up in her life. An old friend at the supermarket sent her reeling back to a time and place she hadn’t know for year…it was a warm feeling; she felt bliss, nostalgia, and pain all at the same time.

Ah the lens of my camera. Beautiful. I love taking photos of everything, mostly scenic things, and people, too. I have a 55mm lens that came with my Canon Rebel SLR XS, though I’m planning to get a bigger macro lens.
