  1. I was walking down the road looking for my lenses. I was positive I had left them here last night. Right? I mean, shouldn’t I be able to remember at what point the world became blurry? Although. I mean. It had become blurry before that for other reasons.

  9. ooh, my first pair of contact lenses came to me in 7th grade i think. my sister got hers later and i think she was always annoyed that i got to wear them first, despite her having glasses much earlier in life than i. oh, well. it’s all the same now. what difference does it make now…the experiences we had when we were younger, whether it was jealousy or a sense of security?

  13. Blue to Green, then back to Grey. It was one of those minor details he tended to notice about people.   22. the glasses were big and round, much like harry potter’s. the frame’s were broken, from the day after he got them when he tripped over his own two feet and cracked them. his mother told him he couldn’t get another pair after that, they were expensive to begin with and they didn’t have money for another pair. he’d been living with cracks in the frames, and twists in the lens.

  32. I don’t know what to say about lens that isn’t a trite statement about my lens verses your lens, his lens her lens. The word looks strange to me, like it wants to spell “ions” and maybe then morph into “eons”.

    I guess I’m thinking about ions and eons.

  33. I shoved the glasses in my pocket, showing them all that I meant business indeed. But really I just didn’t want to see anything clearly as I did this. Inside I was more frightened than any of them.

  34. With my lens you can tell that everything isn’t as bad as it seems. Most things have good to them, and some bad things aren’t just evil. We can all have a better time if we just try; we can all get along if we just relax. Anything is possible if you just believe in yourself and have strong will.

  35. I looked through a lens once – it was a lense on a kaliedoscope and I saw all sorts of colours and shapes. It was so beautiful. It kind of reminded me of a butterfly.

  36. Contact lens. I wear them when I go running but after a few hours they stop feeling comfortable. They are suppose to help me see the world but they just make it harder. There’s no frame but the clarity isn’t there. Damn astigmatism.

  37. A way for those with bad eyesight to see clearer, another type of lens is used for cameras

  40. I looked out through the lens. The field was gorgeous, of course, but that wasn’t what I was supposed to observe. What I was looking at, however, was just as physically lovely, but absolutely frightening–Alysse and Dimitri. Together. The most fearful team I could imagine.
