  2. Leasing apartments, leasing hearts. Same thing, really. You give something that you own and care for to either a complete stranger or someone you once met before. You have no clue if you can trust them, but the only way to know for sure is to let them inside. If it breaks, then you know.

  3. Release. I am released from this prison which cages me. Slash thought he could fuck me up, but not now. Maybe someday they’ll find him in the woods but I’ll be long gone.

  4. so i leased a new apartment. and my dog, mitch, decides it would totally awesome to eat all the furniture there. then take a crap on the new carpet. then pull down the curtains, rip those up, and make a nest. great.

  5. The only thing left was the lease. I didn’t want to pay it out. After all, he had registered the apartment under his name. And I didn’t live there anymore. But then again, dead men can’t pay their bills, can they?

  21. Oh, for a second I thought that said leash. I don’t know anything about leases. That’s about houses, right?
    I still live with my mom. (Of course. I’m only 15.) I don’t like thinking about moving out. I miss my childhood, and I feel like I’m growing up too fast and I can’t stop.

  23. Lease, this is the only word so far i’m drawing a blank at. I know RElease but not lease. I guess a lease is on something you buy, right? Like the lease for the house is up. I could make a dramatic sketch about a family whose lease is up. The mom has cancer, the dad is layed off. The 7 year old daughter struggling to help the family as much as she can at her age. But I won’t. Maybe i’ll write about it once I figure out what exactly what a lease is. Have a good night everybody and yes it is sad i do not know what a lease is.

  24. I need to take a new lease on life, the one I have is about to expire. What am I to do with a broken relationship and a broken heart? Get a new lease on life, its all I can do these days anyway.

  25. My apartment leases over the years have been quite different depending upon the complex. Some complexes allow leases to be 12 months, some are six months, others are three months, and some are month to month.

  36. A huge ripoff to the consumer. The only reason leases are in place is because landlords need a steady income without much work. Leasing is why you can’t effectively move from place to plac quickly. Very inconvienent institution

  37. she’d been leasing the apartment for a week now. no matter how hard she scrubbed there lingered in the air the faint smell of cigarettes and rotting something. what that something was, she most definitely never wanted to find out. those blood stains by the broken window just wouldn’t come out and what looked like claw marks on the bathroom door were there to stay it seemed. she sat on her worn couch, just looking around at it all. wondering how she had gotten there and what those walls had seen. though that was another thing she most definitely did not want to ever learn.
