  12. Though I usually enjoyed the sound of the rain falling down, I certainly would much rather be in doors rather than in this damp tent. The lantern swung above me as the wind blew. It’s soft glow casting shadows across the tent walls.

  13. Chinese lanterns. Light up, illuminate. Paper, pretty, designs, hanging from trees. Making things look more magnificent that already. Nighttime, lanterns are delicately crafted, lanterns are a graceful form of art.

Or perhaps we were only looking for a trickle of light in the darkness of our lives.

  28. lanterns light up things when things are dark. they just guide you and give you the confidence to go in that dark place… thankyou lanterns you dont even need batteries. lanters attract fireflies though and then bugs die when they hit them.. wait that eletrical?

  31. Everyone with a lantern always gets killed. Always. It’s the worst illumination to have in a movie, you’d be better off with a torch. The only worst source of light would be the match, which is all in all a terrible option. The second you light a match, someone is always right in your face ready to snuff your own lights out.

  37. This is the second time I write about a lantern. The first time I found out I had to register, first. I wrote loads of wonderful things about lanterns and how they shine softly and the atmosphere and stuff, and that I’m feeling melancholic tonight, so a lantern and maybe a garden would really make my day. I love lanterns, you bet.

  39. I look at a lantern as i camp with my friends. its bright and it shows me whats around. not knowing whats around can sometimes be nice, but at the end of the day, to know what you are surrounded by is the best.

  40. THis is a very magical dark shell with a little light in it shining brightly to guide the wanderer amidst the threatening shadows. The light never penetrates far, but it shines with hope.
