  1. This is what the professors always tell us to start our speeches off with. The hook, the catch, the thing that’s going to get your audience’s attention and then it’s all up to you to keep it. Bad hook? You’re screwed. Captain Hook? Don’t know about that, but good movie.

  4. He’s hooked me already, and I barely know him. Tonight, in a drunken fit of energy, he sang Emma Ejwertz really loudly and touched my knee. Occasionally, he pokes my side and revels in my tickled squeak. He might only like white girls though, and I am sadly not white.

  5. he hooked her hard in the head, watching her drop. The life of a mafia man was hard, and no, he did not like seeing his girl punched. Clyde darted forward, sending a hard blow toward the man who had just dropped the woman. He, in turn, fell and was immediately knocked out. The woman shifted on the ground, pushing herself up, “Thanks,”

  6. captain hook wasn’t a very nice guy because of his having no one-hand. i bet it was hard to get along in the day to day activities of a pirate without the use of one of his hands. especially when that means that the replacement was a hook that ended with a sharp metal point. i cannot imagine how long it took for him to realize not to scratch his eye.

A tug, a pull, I reeled in the line to see the nine inch large mouth bass clinging to my hook.

  10. The man had a hook for a hand. His eyes were dark and his hair was wild. His clothes were dripping wet and full of holes. He looked like he hadn’t showered in weeks. The man had a sinister air about him. People didn’t trust him, even before they saw his hand – or lack thereof.

  11. She lifted the hook on the reel and stared at it for a long time. The hook was an interesting thing, she thought. It was a death trap which entranced its victims and then reeled them in and left them to die.

  23. Hooked on drugs, hooked on men, hooked on some new kind of drink. Rebecca was always hooked. She wished someone would pull her off stage like in one of those old black and white comedies. Just grab one of those walking sticks, throw it around her waist and hook her the hell out of here.

    by Carlyn on 01.01.1970
  24. The hook sailed over the calm blue water, landing far away from the boat where the man in the yellow trunks was sitting. He pulled his hat down over his face and let the fishing pole sit. There were no bites for a while but just when he was about to leave, there was a tug and he was pulled into the water. He then drowned to death((:

  26. i’m hooked on you hooked for the while like a fish stuck on it or a coat caught on the hanger on the hook off the hook, you know it’s off the hook the way i’m hooked on you the way you smile and the way you look at me, there’s not way i’ll let go (or is it you that will let me free)

  27. Perhaps this is the captain. Perhaps not. It probably hurts to have a hook instead of a hand. I wonder how he lost it? I wonder if a crocodile REALLY ate it? You can never believe everything you’re told, right? I prefer to think he gave it up, much like Van Gogh gave up his ear. Very few people have those kinds of guts.

  28. By hook or by crook, I’m going to get over this man. Two years is too long to be hung up on someone who is a womanising bastard. Friends have said that the only one who can do anything about the situation is me – when will I wake up !!!!! Two years of feeling like shit most of the time – will I ever learn? Moron – me – and him !!!
