  2. Guided. I was guided to write about the word ‘guided’. Why am I to bother with such a thing? such a mindless task? am I to write about the word simply because I was told to do so? the fact remains that i have very little to say about it. It is just a word. I could just as well look up it’s meaning in the dictionary. A definition.

  11. There were three tours ready to start. The first was full of children, the second full of housewives. The third was full of people who’d never make it out. Their guide was an older man, someone who knew they’d fit the profile. Someone who knew if he didn’t deliver these sacrificial lambs, that he’d be next. As he guided them into the piny woods, he felt a moment’s guilt.

  18. by the light, by our hearts content, to the farthest reaches of the universe of our imaginations. People are too often guided by hate, by prejudice, greed, selfishness. This is not the real self, this is not the authentic human, but the backwards, animalistic self of ego that was brought into existence for the sake of survival. The true, or divine self is all there really is to keep these instincts from running amuck and causing destruction.

The only way out is to let the self be guided; guided by the light.

We snorted them together and built a rocket, which we flew to Mars. His coat blended in with the surroundings, and I lost him. I wander alone.

  23. Walking down a path, you are guided by a light. The light seems to spring from the leaves of the trees. You can search for the source, but never find it. Along the path you find that you are peaceful and calm, all because of being guided by this light. You do not feel alone, but feel calm and thoughtful…as if the light guiding you were your friend.
