  1. Gravity is stupid. Seriously. FUCK YOU GRAVITY. I’m going to fly one day. Just like the Wright Brothers. Did you know one of the Wright Brothers lived to see the atomic bomb dropped on Japan? Could you imagine what would have been going through his head at that moment? Wow. I can’t. I would be….

  3. Heavy on my shoulders. Weighing me down til my heart pumps so slowly it can not be heard, or felt, or seen. Lost in a world of gravity!

  5. gravity holds everything down. it gives stability. we don’t notice it but every movement we make is shaped by gravity. an unseen force can have such a huge impact on our lives. a little like hope. it changes everything

  6. It was pulling me down, weighing me down. Everything was so much harder to do. Like gravity, the guilt of what I’d done kept me grounded, made me a prisoner. I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t move. Every moment was spent thinking about what I’d done, how I was going to fix it, what I could do to make it right.

  7. The weight of the world surrounds me, and I can feel nothing else. A constant pulling, not a state of rest. There is no greater sense than this.

  8. the glue which keeps us with this earth, still no one know why didn’t this gets reduced in intensity over period of time. this must be some natural thing which is just keeping us with the earth…

  9. The gravity of the situation seemed to escape Charlie.

“I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!” She screamed into his bemused face.

“Okay,” Charlie said. “If that’s what you want.”

  10. Holding me down to earth. I need it. To feel this would be sweet bliss. You hold me here. You, sweet gravity. Gravity by any other name would sound much sweeter, Gail. Yes, you are the only thing keeping me here. And I wish that I could express how very much I care. But I can’t. I love everything about you and you’re ability to keep me here, grounded. You will never know how very much I appreciate you.

  11. gravity is the moving force. The biggest one. It follows the same rules as electromagnetism, yet it works on such a larger scale. The numbers are often in the meggas instead of the picos. GO learn some physics though. Srsly

  12. I am being pulled down and in and soon there will be little left of what was up and out and when at last you see the bald top of my head disappear into a perfect point, I’ll lose all dimension, scope, and scale- but don’t worry I’m not gone, I’m just waiting, forever, for that bit of matter that will tip me from contract to expand.

  13. THIS DOESN’T EXIST IN OUTER SPACE, BUT SOMETIMES THE EXISTANCE OF IT ON EARTH MMAKES ME FEEL LIKE IM FAT, SINCE IT’S THE REASON THAT WEIGHT EXISTS. IF WE DIDN’T HAVE GRAVITY, WE WOULDN’T BE ABLE TO WEIGH OURSELVES AT ALL, BECAUSE THERE WOULD BE NO PULL DOWN ON OUR BODIES.

  14. stay the hell away from me. lead balls on the fabric of the universe, nylon i imagine. the universe is a gigantic collection of balls. occasionally rushing towards or away from each other, but most of the time just spinning emptily alone in space. the pull is like a tide in the bones.

  15. It was like lift off. We were high. Like Kites. Like birds and planes. We had no gravity to keep us down. We were weightless you and I. Weightless. I wonder where you are now, and whether your still high?

    by Miss Miller on 07.26.2009
  16. the moment that I pause, I feel you, pulling me down like this weight against my shoulders. this constant battle, for perfection, for that state of calmness, where I can just hang, without floating to the sky or sinking deep into the earth. life is a fight, a constant awareness.
