Giving is a great act, because what you give is what you get I never get What I want, but i ALWAYS give because i am a kind person. oNCE TIME, I give chocolate, and I never stop because I love giving, much more then taking. I am never a taker, always a giver.
Today is Christmas day here in Australia. The day to give presents….the day of giving. I just hope that everyone is happy today. The thought of people being unhappy on Xmas day is a horrible thought isn’t it. Merry Christmas everyone xxx

Well, it IS Christmas, after all. It’s not about giving or getting, but rather the spirit in which things are given and gotten. Although, that’s not what my brother thinks…
To give is wonderful, but only if it is properly considered and what somebody wants. I am given crap every year which I give to raffles or charity shops. Next year I will ask people to give a donation to charity in my name.
What shall we give at Xmas? The pressure mounts as the ‘show and tell’ approaches’. The emphasis is not on the ‘give’ but on the show…have we lost the focus?
I look across the land and see so many things to give, so many things to be given. The child bringing buckets of polluted water back to his village to drink. The girl packing mudpies and building huts in her only colorful sari. The old man walking miles to call for a doctor because his sixth daughter is giving birth- little does he know, it’s too late. The women riding on the backs of motorcycles and carrying babies as they drive through tightly packed and dangerous streets. I could help them- we ALL could help them. But instead of giving back, all we do, is take. We sit on our asses, and watch the news as they tell tragic stories from all over the world. We skim major headlines like “ECONOMIC CRASH” or “BABIES SOLD IN BURMA” or “AIDs SPREADS” because we don’t want to know. If something isn’t right in front of us, we’ll block it out. So don’t block anyone, or anything out this Christmas. Give. Give back.

He shook his head. “I’m finished with this. I’m tired of trying so hard for no results. The project is over. Everything is over.”
Give, receive, give receive. A constant cycle of gratitude and the pure joy of letting someone have something that they never would have thought of to buy for themselves. Oh, the holiday season.

I gave a gift once. It was a beehive. The man I gave it to actually wasn’t very frightened. That’s probably because he was a bee-keeper. It just goes to show you that context means everything.

with lots of lights and ornaments hung through the plastic cover. We said it was better to have a love seat anyway because Christmas is about love.
tomorrow is the day of giving, which means that i’ve spent the past few weeks buying heaps of gifts, but i’m not able to give what i want to. because for you? i’m not giving you anything. not a thing. and you want to know why? because the only thing i want to give you is my heart. i want to give you my heart, and hugs, and smiles. i want to give you everything you never even thought of giving to me.

I am currently typing a story that I am working on. Its over thirty pages in my notebook, but much less in the word document. I am planning on giving these first two chapters of my book to my dad for christmas, along with a poem that I just wrote. I hope that he will like them. But, I am never sure. I am always so afraid they will suck.

To give is so much better than to receive. The lesson we try to teach our kids everyday has them shopping through the house trying to find presents to give each other on Christmas day.
“I’ve got a lot of love to give, I just don’t know where to put it.” I don’t understand why I treat people the way I do sometimes. But I guess that makes me understand why some people I love treat me the way they do sometimes. Maybe that’s why we love eachother; it’s more unconditional that we think. And we hate eachother most of the time, but that’s why it works.
Some say its better to give than to receive. I always believed that its best to find people who don’t expect anything. That is the problem with today’s society everyone expects something from everyone. The world would be a better place if people just let things be.

It seems that someone’s always giving like there’s no tomorrow to someone else who doesn’t deserve it. I should write more, but I can’t think.
