  2. Beyond. Curiousity at its finest. Wondrous but unknown. If only we really knew. What we are.

by Natalie Marie Guerra on 04.02.2011
  3. I used to get high. I used to have such sexual energy that I didn’t know what to do with it. I used to drink more than should ever be allowed by any human in the world. And now I spend my time finding these same feelings, these same releases through work that allows me to live in a star, shooting through the void, as the King of Infinite Space. For not even bad dreams can keep me from this journey, from one sun to another, ’till I am old and on my deathbed, out of use. But then, even in death, I will find a use with which to pass this torch of life and joy on with.

  4. He saw her standing there, in the doorway of the Rural Avenue house. Her hair was swept down beside her face, gleaming with the shine of the stars above. Elmer had dropped her off, his car was parked in the driveway. An old Chevy, somewhat beat up. Daddy would probably judge Elmer for his car, Jack thought.

  5. In the middle of the darkness, there is a light that illumaniate ours soul and leaves us breathless. it the space that has always been unfilled is now finaly filled.. But it’s way out there. Somewhere we can not reach. The stars watch out for us like eyeballs biut we have no way to secure the protection they send our way. Whyt are we so fare away from the thing that makes us whole.. We are all alone with no help.

  6. Inside the cathedral sat a picture and a name. There were flowers, too, and people, but the life within was inconsequential. The sun shining on his RGB light sensitive paper face – that meant everything.

  7. There’s a vast world out there. An unbiased lay of vast proverbial land built upon the most mysterious of properties. It is only the few generations preceding us that have come far enough to comprehend this. And yet, here we stand perplexed as we always were.

    by B on 04.02.2011
  8. The galaxy. Shiny, ambiguous, disguised. All the things we look for in photography. The strange is what excites and entices us. The unknown is beauty.

    by Meggychan on 04.02.2011
  9. Following her dreams, she ventured far and near, strumming her one and only friend—Galaxy. The only one who understood her, and could truly feel her every move. She made love to that instrument—she loved the way it would scream when she stroked it, and the eerie moans she made as she touched her in individual motions, choosing her fingering carefully. Galaxy was her man…

  10. the galaxy is full of stars. its back. For some reason i am thinking about milk…maybe because of the milky way. Now i am thinking about the cover of Kid Cudi’s CD because there are stars in the background and it is a very far away picture.

  11. i love to learn about this space stuff it’s facsinating to me and people sometimes think that we have the only star in the solar system (peple are stupid) but yea and i love to know more about this

  12. The galaxy is quite small, compared to the whole width of space, just as a human blood cell is tiny compared to the girth of the ocean–the sheer size. It’s vast, and, honestly, it’s quite scary, because we don’t know what lurks within those two things very well at all… But, despite my own fear, I love the beauty they possess just as much, if not more.

  13. And at that moment her world came tumbling down like a house of cards
her chest emptied out onto the table top, and her bleary eyes that once glistened like the stars.
She seemed to melt like a Salvador Dali painting and galaxies poured down her rosy cheeks.
He was gone. He was the dust only visible in sunlight, the warmth she sought comfort in when week.
The idea of never seeing him again made her sick to her stomach, like she was being drained of all organs, feelings, thoughts, control.
It was like she was a galaxy being swallowed up by a black hole.

  14. i’ve always wanted to explore, and i wonder to myself when will the day come that we might get that far, to explore and discover the galaxy. what are we going to find in any respect, it’s hard to define, the feeling inside of excitement and wonder, that can accompany any such day of discovery; that accompanies the ideas of what we might one day see.

  15. its like a big open space…there;s nothing around you, but you. Do you ever think that someone or something had to create this masterpiece. When did it come and when will it go. Do you have any idea? Neither do I.

  17. Tumbling slowly throw the galaxy, the massive asteroid moved silently, lumbering toward it’s final destination. There would be little warning, and even less preparation.

  18. I wish I could go out with a camera and take pictures of it all, as it looks so pretty (from what i have seen) but I hate not knowing where it ends! I’m going to stick with the concept that it is turtles all the way down!

  21. the galaxy is huge, it’s amazing all the things that can reside in such a small (in comparison) area. i can’t even imagine all the bright and beautiful things that will never be seen in our galaxy alone, never mind the billions that exist in the universe. how is it possible that we can exist in so much ignorance? how is it possible that so much beauty can exist without anyone there to witness it?

    by Amanda on 04.02.2011
  22. the stars revolved around them. there was nothing at their feet, and her eyes were clenched shut. she wouldn’t dare look down, due to fear. but his hand in hers was a comfort. the galaxy whirled around them and he was there, watching over her, protecting her.

she opened them. and all she saw was him.

  25. In science last semester we learned about what is known to be our galaxy. A galaxy is filled with millions of stars, planets, moons and is within one giant universe (supposedly). There are many galaxies in the universe.

  26. is a dark and cold unknown places. full of aliens and planets and undiscovered mysteries. It is dark and many are unaware of what it is hiding. Lit up only by stars anyhting can be hiding anything unknown can attack at any time.

  27. The entire galaxy could have been contained in that one moment, in his eyes and his lips. The galaxy would have loved to be there, but we were a million miles away form everything, from everybody. It was just him and me tonight. <3

  28. is too big for me to think about. it makes me think of everything out there that is bigger than me, and just how much i miss you and wish you loved me…. i cant stand this, i feel as numb as the universe is large, and gone as… i dont know what. i wish youd come back and live on jupiter with me… anything, anywhere, i miss you.

  29. The last frontier of man. Immutable and vast, it dwarfs the biggest of us. Will it ever be conquered? Shall its power ever be harnessed? I kneel in my incomprehension, I am inarticulate in the empty space.

  30. It had been awhile since we had stared at the galaxy. We both sat on the roof, right outside of her window, and stared at the stars. They longer we stared the closer the galaxy seemed to appear. The moon became part of our night; we were a trio romancing with the stars. It seemed as though time had stopped, yet I knew this night would end, I knew we would never go back to how things were.

  31. So huge, so mysterious. We know so little about the tiny speck that is earth, really, we dont know the meaning of life here. How, then can we hope to comprehend the vast expanse of our Galaxy, the millions of planets. How can we even wrap our minds around the universe containing so many galaxies with so many planets. What is the vast expanse that is everything and yet nothing? We are but one planet and we only know about the planets just outside our solar system. The planets in our system are the only ones we know well. In our branch of the galaxy

  34. Wide expansive never ending always food for thought. We know so little about our own Galaxy in the great scheme of things yet we know of the existence of others. We are but a tiny speck in an unimportant branch of our galaxy.

    by Tabrika on 04.02.2011
  35. Jensen first thought was that he’d rather be in any other galaxy in the universe than the one he was in right now. How things could go so wrong so fast in one day had his mind reeling. What in hell’s name was he going to do, he though as he stared down the long bluish barrels of the shotgun.

  36. Where are we in this world? There might be more than just us. The vastness of the universe, of the galaxy is simply over whelming. when you think about that, it makes you wonder if what you are doing even makes a difference. Is what i am doing worth anything? what difference does it make?

    by Leila on 04.02.2011
  37. Sometimes, I don’t think I can really appreciate how vast the galaxy is, never mind how vast the universe is. I marvel at the astronomers who can throw around “billions and billions” and actually comprehend what that means. My puny little mind simply cannot cope. I suspect there are a lot of people who might feel the same, if they were ever brave enough to admit it.

  38. the galaxy is huge, it is a place that no one will ever understand. We are just a small dot in the big picture. what do we now, when we are young will never be remember in this galaxy. We are a nothing,

  39. She looks up, head tilted back, trying to follow the direction of the laser pointer. Now that, that’s actually a galaxy, Uncle Kent is telling the excited campers. Imagine, from over there that’s what the Milky way looks like, and in that little dot are as many stars as you can see right now. Amazing.

  40. a long time ago in a galaxy far far away…
there lived a prince. though he had no i dea he was a prince. he lived with his aunt and uncle in a planet very distant fro the one he was born. He loved his adopted parents very much, though he yearned to find out where he truly came from. He spent his time building droids and ships capable of trekking through the stars, but he had never left the planet he lived on.
