And maybe I’ll jump higher and you won’t crush me when I fall and we’ll find something beautiful, something purer and clearer, a splash of water – something to cushion us when we tumble together into the deep.

  11. small green animal, likes to eat flies, but not really, it mainly eats insects it can reach. Has an enormous tongue for the size of it’s body, generally seen as slimy but some are quite smooth. Not to be confused with a toad, frogs are generally smaller, smoother, while toads have lumpier skin. Both can be toxic to the touch, and both spend early life as tadpoles, go through a metamorphosis.

  22. The small green frog lay stupefied on its lily pad, looking up to survey the world with bulbous velvet eyes that pulsated with a deep and unknown fear, uncertainty, the kind of frantic that pervades the smaller members of the animal kingdom. For every fly he feasted upon a thousand shadows descended upon him from every direction until he wanted to give up and crawl under a rock and die.

  23. The frog bounced off of the lilly pad onto the hard grey rock. The water lapped on the stone, a calming sound that echoed off the cave walls. Alone in his abode the frog croaked to no one in particular. He looked at his surroundings one last time before jumping back into the cool warm water, splashing the cold walls.
