  3. Fireflies are bright, they remind me of summer. Summer is good. I love on a hot muggy summer night how you can sit out on the porch and wire thousands of fireflies whizz by your face. It’s really beautiful, nature and all. There are countless things that amaze me about summer.

  4. fireflies in the night sky. they looked like shooting stars in my eyes. fluttering intensly providing light for us. We never were lost because of the light of the fireflies. their wings took flight, so we took off. running the hte field with them so heavenly a sight.

  8. fireflies are mysterious creatures. They light up the world in the cool summer nights. They entertain kids on the fourth of july as they run around, capturing the little lightning bugs in large glass jars. Every now and then when I was a kid I would imagine fireflies came from another world.

  10. Oh, to be a little kid, chasing fireflies at night out at a friend’s house. I remember catching them in a jar, letting them go, the freedom of running with a purpose and yet, with none. Just run. Watch the blinking fireflies appear and disappear. Where will the come up next?

  14. Fireflies are those little creatures that fly around at night! People like to catch them in jars and they glow. They’re pretty entertaining little bugs! I wish I could be a firefly and fly around at night, making memories with small children! The little wonders of the world…

  17. i’ve never seen a firefly. only imagined what they must look like. It’s like when people have never seen the ocean but hear the waves crashing in their sleep. Fireflies have a certain rhythm to ther blinking, to attract mates. i wish i could do that.

  20. bright little morsels in the night sky, how I long to enjoy their flavor. Being a bat is no easy task, when your food flies ever so quietly. Perhaps I will be a a vegeatrian bat, only eat fruit. But I dont know if I like fruit.

  26. fireflies are a very pretty animal. now i’ve never really been to close to one but when they are flying they look pretty. i dont know much about them ether, but i guess as long as they look pretty thats all that matters. their life may be very important to this world of ours.

  30. fireflies in fields are what i would see passing outside the car window. Little fairy lights buzzing around, magical. All i could imagine as i was trapped behind the glass was running out and laying in the field, watching the little glows turn on and off, filtering through to the starry sky above.

  35. As a child, looking up at the fireflies and thinking they must be fallen stars. You grow up more and realize that they are just like us, trying to find their place in the world and they aren’t stars at all. But still we try and catch them to keep the stars with us – maybe to wish on when times get tough. Fireflies are there to help us dream

  36. fireflies is a new song that has just come out and released here in Australia, it is a fantastic song with a really catchy tune.

    I have never actually seen fireflies or know what they are… However when I was talking to my father he told me that he had seen them when he was younger in India.
