The feeling, that exhilarating feeling of having the words in the right place, so they say what I want them to say, and what I love. That’s favorite. The purpose I feel in doing so, and the way the same images in my words flow from my pen or pencil in lines as the pictures that match.

A favorite thing of mine is to play my flute. It’s freeing for me, I dream of it all the time – becoming a professional musician. I love music and I hope for it to become a part of my life forever.

These are a few of my favorite things: winter night skies, the moon in any or all of its stages, the stars, the smell of the seasons, the breeze that envelops me, telling me that there is more than just me in the world, the wisdom of ocean waves, laughter of all kinds and at all times, seeing love in someone’s eyes, being silly and being serious, knowing that I am there for people just as they are for me, knowing that I am needed and relied upon, words, notes, movements, creative expression, the cosmic quiet occurring when it snows, the melting of a New England winter into spring, getting manicures with my girlfriends, dressing up and dressing down, going out on the town, being crazy and calm, wacky sarcastic interchanges, late night lucubrations and mad creations…
But my most favoritest thing of all…
Not knowing all of my favorite things until they take my breath right out of my lungs.

favorite – this is a word used too much. My Favorite this my favorite that – This is my favorite toy but i love this toy too. Favoring something is the conscious decision to favour something over something else . But it is also a word that can cause sorry a word for an action that causes problems. Not refering to toys but when dealing with people. Having a favorite ‘ son ‘ – ‘ friend ‘ – now i have no children so the reference to friend was in my head – favoring a friend i.e. having a best friend in my recent experience has become a spiral down fall as favouring / having a favorite friend / best friend can lead to favouring the wrong kind of people. Life with favorites leads to jealousy in the material and physical world . You may prefer one toy to another but having one you cant do without . . . . is silly ……. and people well all i can say is …. Some times life doesnt turn out the way you want – well thats ok you see – just make sure that one thing is constant ……always remember to love the ones you with xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Favorite. I hate picking favorites. I hate when teachers pick favorites. I have favorite teachers. Mrs. White is one of them. She thought my writing was excellent. She thought I should be published. That was in 3rd grade. Now I don’t know if I can creatively write anymore. Schooling seems to have sucked the creativity out of me.

My favourite thing to do in the holidays is to go up to my family’s bach by a lake in the middle of nowhere. All around are mountains, and we can do whatever we like all day. We can sit by the lake or just blob out. I get homesick for the bach.
