They slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe.

It can also be used to describe views which are out of line with the traditional middle ground in political literature such as communism or facism. These two things are rarely reconciled so well by one word.

She closed her eyes and basked in the sensation allowing the food to circle her mouth, caress her tongue and tickle her teeth. After swallowing she paused allowing her self a moment of brevity before taking another bite of her Big Mac.

  28. Extreme. Extreme metal. Extreme horror. Gore. Disgusting. When I think extreme I think graphic and over the top. Either that or I think something that one would not normally include in their every day life. Out of the ordinary. Bridge jumping. Skydiving. Exploitation films. Rape scenes. Parasailing. Suicide. Knife fights. Jackass.

  31. I think extremes are a state of mind. You either live within somebody else’s extreme and think it normal or you see somebody else at a point where you would be uncomfortable yourself and ask yourself why they would do that – to you, it is an extreme.

I find my extremes are other’s people’s normality. In fact I find the banal mediocrity of suburbia an extrme that nobody else shares.

  39. The ends by which normality is created. What is once extreme becomes regular, banal. what is banal becomes ordinary…and over time, the historical average becomes extreme, as does the new avant garde. A condition of culture.

Fearsome and exciting, only because it is new or dangerousness. Dangerous perhaps only because it is new to experience. A condition of desire.

    by G S on 01.01.1970
  40. things that are extreme are usually negative and are usually something are unexpected or that you didn’t intend to happen. Like someone you know is rude to an extreme at a dinner party and you’re like, “WHAT, THEY”RE NEVER LIKE THIS USUALLY” so yeah, wow, this makes lots of sense but it says just type so i do. So something extreme is something negative you usually want to stop from happening or avoid from happening. usually the best way is to confront someone about it so they know to bring it down a notch.
