  1. When the door opened, she entered a world filled with rainbows and butterflies. Everything was in an idyllic state and there was absolutely nothing to be worried about. She wore pretty dresses and had flowers in her hair. Another door opened and she was exposed to fear, words that hurt like a spear through her heart, and everything she hadn’t encountered before. It was scary, she thought, awful and ugly. But eventually she survived and got through it all with the help of the people who loved her.

There are many entrances in life, each door consists of a future no one can predict. It’s up to you to close it and hide, or to open it and conquer it with every strength and might you have.

The entrance to the building was bland, a simple wooden door-frame with a set of wooden doors which creaked slightly. A carved pattern, which was neither artistic nor attractive, served as a poor excuse for decoration. The door handles were once a shiny gold, but had now faded to a murky copper colour.
Alexa thought the doors beautiful, not in their appearance, but in that, by walking through these doors, she would soon be her fiancé’s wife.

The music starts. I smile, and begin.

  28. life is just a door
    simple
    wooden framed
    a handle stuck
    somewhere in the middle
    paint peeling,
    hinges creaking
    there is nothing behind it.
    you simply enter
    and you create your surroundings.
    life is but a door.
    nothing less, nothing more
    and what’s behind it
    is all your decision.

  35. An entrance is always exciting. It is the beginning of a new thing. Most of the itme I know where I’m going when I go through an entrance, but sometime, not. An entrance to the drug store always beeps, and the doors always slide open for me. A haunted house though, you never know!

  37. I walked into the parlor and saw the shop was closing: there was one guy left, just getting touched up. When i asked him what he’d do all black ink for, he said it depended on the design– size, more detail vs. less detail; but anywhere between $50 and $80. I came in the next day, and had him ink up my left arm. My left side is the side where most everything goes. if i’m two face, then my left is my badass side. I like to think of it as if my left side is running away and rebelling against my right. I have turned my body into an art piece that reflects my own inner conflicts. Piercings, with the exception of my ears and nipples, are all on my left side. Someone once told me I’d go deaf in my left ear if I kept putting metal in it. So i kept putting metal in it so i wouldnt have to listen to their shit anymore. I’m a walking contradiction.

  39. Entrance. what a simple word. When i think of an entrance i think of nothing more but an exit or a place were to go back to when i fuck up. entrances work both ways. Which is rather unfortunate. it makes it easier to fuck up. But some entrances have fucked me over because of the fact that the exit sealed when i entered causing me to not be able to turn back. I mean everything said in a theoretical way of course. I mean entrance and exit in terms of the human mind.
