  1. This is the start not the end. The end is everywhere these days, we love to prophesise our own doom. Doomsday happened in 2010, then 2011, then 2012. I’ve never understood our desire to predict our decline, we should realise that society has improved vastly, being a much more tolerant place than it was.

  4. The end of the world is coming. It will only take five minutest but the world is going to end and everyone will die. No one will live and you will be the first to go. I can’t understand why the world is going to end.

  8. A story never really comes to an end.

  9. the end is coming. Allah knows it. Allah foresees it. none of us believe it; except the few. o Allah, am i of the few? Let my meeting with You not be the end of my hope, when I am at the end of my rope. but ending dunya fantasies, and living in Reality. You are my End. You are my Everything.

  10. The end. What is it? Well everything has one. Or at least thats what we make ourselves think. A circle. Looks so innocent, infinitive. But we say it has an end anyways.
Maybe cause we’re too scared of this life. We actually want it to end. We cant spend another day in this worthless place. We can’t… Thats why we see in an end in everything. Cause we started out, and so we must end.

  11. In the end all you need is
family and love. Everything else doesn’t matter, not money, a job, social opinion, grades, nothing.

  12. The end of something is the beginning of another thing.

  13. At the end of my life, I shall look back like Aeneas to Illium and I shall bitterly weep for all the happiness that has surrounded me.

At the end of my reflection, I shall scream. For the bitter betweens, the mirrors, reflections breaking me down, echoes of laments reminding me of regrets – restless nights in bed.

In the end, I shall mark with nothing but a trail. What do I mean? Just…

  14. everything has an end.

  15. the period,
    it splits.
it’s a finalizer, the signature at the end of the contract,
the promise that what came before is finished.
    at the end,
    it’s a point
    a blemish

    but…
what if it is a signal for the beginning
the cheaky wink of a beauty mark
    – not a blemish
    its a twinkle, a wink,
    the attraction.
    Period.

  16. My life is an end. Your life will end.
“But every end is a new beginning,” they say?
That’s okay. Be open. Accept ends. Ends are healthy: everything ends.

But sometimes an ending is just death.

  17. the end was near as the galaxies exploded and a great wind started to blow. there were people running around like ants. while all these, all Jess wanted was to just sit in peace. be alone for the last time and listen to her thoughts as the world as they knew it comes to an end and everything vanishes. leaving nothing behind but lingering memories of lost people.

  18. It has finally arrived after a life time of anticipation. Something I could never conceive in my lifetime is staring me in the face. I cannot believe it, yet I do not dare disbelieve it. Is it real or merely a delusion of wistful thinking? Whatever it is; it is here and I must face it

  19. The end.

  20. i know i’ve said
i never want to see you again

    but does it matter

when top 40 songs never leave my head
and perfume samples cling to my skin

    your knuckle and my cheekbone
    shared a painful kiss

    and i dream of it
    – of you –
more than i’d like to admit

(what i want is of no consequence
to what my heart thinks it lacks)

    so kiss me once more.

    Prove me wrong.

  21. this is the end
    of my confusion
    guilt
    fear
this is the end of everything
    I have to hear
    from you mumbling words
    your tactics of fear
    this is the end of
    us my dear.

  22. Is there ever really an end, or is it just a figment of our ever growing imagination that confines our minds to getting the job done.

  23. What is the end, is it near yet, or is it already over? Could we all be dead, and over end has already been here. I hope that that isn’t the case, I hope I’ll live many years yet before my end comes.

by Mads Holst Pedersen on 01.14.2013
  24. there is no such thing as the perfect ending because there is never anything perfect about the begging in the first place. nobody is ever born into this world knowing the right things to do.

    by Matt Klotz on 01.14.2013
  25. The end of things is never an end. Its always just a new beginning. When I come to the end of a book, I always wonder what happens next. I want to see not just “happily ever after” but the next generation’s story, and the next. Even if it seems as though it ends, it may just be a doorway. To somewhere new.

  26. the end signifies when everything is over. there is no more. nothing left to do. it is complete. the end can be good and it can be bad. it can be looked forward to and it can be dreaded. the end of something is that you can never take back, never do over, never try again. for everything that ends, it only ends once, which is what makes it so bittersweet

    by Rebecca on 01.14.2013
  27. It’s the end. Many people think that this is the end when it is not. I am not to be deceived. There is no end to this. Let’s examine our lives. As Socrates said, an unexamined life is not worth living. Is this the end?

    by Galen Woods on 01.14.2013
  28. As writers the power we have with the pen and keyboard is amazing. We can kill and hurt them to the end but we never go to jail. We can talk to our vharachters and get crazy looks. But the best writers are crazy.

  29. Where is the beginning? Where is the end? Many a times, we feel sadwhen something comes to an end. But to view it optimistically, it also signals a new beginning. The end of the year is usually a reflective one, where we think about how much we did the past year (or how little); the new year is a hopeful one, with new resolutions and new found energy. However sorrowful the end is, it paves the way for a new tomorrow.
