  2. is it ambition or is it born out of selfishness? I never could figure it out. is it good to be driven? or is something bad, something that makes you push other people out of the way. driving headlong into wherever you think you want to head.

  3. being driven is about having motivation. having the willpower and dedication to be able to do something. sometimes i feel like i’m not really driven like successful people are because i don’t have that one passion. i don’t want to become a neurosurgeon or a world famous artist.

  8. what i am not. what a car is. what a golf ball was. a steering wheel. a golf club. my brain. they all have something in common. i wonder if the more more expensive each is, the more likely it will work. i wish i had a steering wheel in my brain. maybe it would work more precisely.

  9. I wish I were more driven. I feel like an over-achiever trapped in a lazy person’s body. I could do so much more with my life if I just had the time, or the money, or, well… the drive. Perhaps I’m too hard on myself, but, who else will be?

I see so many people every day that work so hard to do whatever their life purpose compels them to do. it makes me wonder if I’ll ever find a purpose that drives me so badly to complete it- a higher reason for living that makes these people and the things they do so amazing…I grow more and more jealous of them every day. I wish so badly to have such purpose and meaning…maybe one day I’ll find a purpose.

  16. it is a term to do with driving and driving means car and cars have fours wheels and brakes and my dad is fixing his car and he is doing very well and my friend james is coming round so he can see the car that my dad has driven but is now fixing and this is the longest minute of my life when will it end please c’mon do something i am trying to talk to my friends and watch tv but you are not helping

  18. the word driven to anyone would most likely resemble something that someone has done to a movable object, such as a car. to me, the word driven refers to the feelings that’ve been used, that are on from time to time until they no longer can really be “driven” for much longer.

  19. Alot of ppl are driven to do things,as I was driven to do this by friend. They may have good or bad reasons to do stuff. Like something bad would be for greed or money. Good would be to help make things or to give stuff to other people. I am not sure what this will fall under so I will just put it under good.

  21. driven makes me think of being motivated, like driven towards something. my friend wants to get a tattoo of that word on his wrist so he stays that way, as a reminder. its what the world is about motivation. staying on course. doing what needs to be done so you can be where you want to be

  27. Oh man. I’m so driven to type something grand in 60 seconds or less. The only thing is that I can’t think of anything. I wonder if that still counts as driven or not?   30. driven. like in acar. i love to drive. because no one can hear you when you sing and you can think about anything you like and talk to yourself and nobody thinks its weird. you can also drive by people’s houses without them knowing. i also think of determination. i don’t have a whole lot of drive. i wish to be successful but don’t really plan on doing the work i have to in order to be rich. i don’t really care about the money though.

  39. I’m driven towards pretty colors. I was at Disneyland this week and was about to buy a delicious honey pot rice crispie for about 5 dollars and he was talking to his friend. He said something to the extent of- they make in all pretty colors and arrange it nicely, and anybody’ll buy anything.

    He was very right.

  40. sometimes it works for me. I have a brief second of knowing what I should do and what I want to do, and i can go out and do it. But it doesn’t always work. I hope sometime, soon, I’ll be driven enough to do it all – everything I want and need. perhaps. I just need something to push me forward. But that’s the meaning of being driven, isn’t it? being able to push yourself forward?
