Watching my dog twitch a little while sleeping. Sort of overhearing my sister and her boyfriend in the basement and wishing that it was me instead.

  4. A sense of belonging. Comfort. Warmth. Safe. Domesticity is tameness. Boring sometimes, yet exceedingly comfortable. Wonderful in its own right. Sometimes there is nothing better than a domestic Sunday, spent in ones home. Warm blankets, cold winter days, puppies and kittens. Domestic is not a bad thing. It’s beautiful in its own right.

  12. In a way, I am domestic on the outer shell. Quiet, withdrawn, and calm – but inside, I am just as wild as can be. I only allow myself to let loose when everything is all fucked up. When that happens, I go all out and lose myself for a while. It’s a good feeling.

  23. Domestic violence. How can violence be domestic? The two words just cancel each other out. it’s actually quite stupid. Verbal arguments turn into hitting and more violent means of acting out. Domestic is the opposite of violence. It doesn’t really make sense.

  25. She never wanted to be a domestic housewife, she had goals when she was a child. She always said she’d be the first female president, but instead she’s washing clothes and having babies while her businessman husband is probably out having an affair with his secretary, so unfair.

  31. There are many types of domestic animals. My personal favorite is a dog. They really are man’s best friend. They’re lovable and loyal and always there for who will treat them with dignity and respect. A lot of work comes with owning this type of animal. Dogs are one of nature’s greatest gifts.
