  21. The director shouted loudly into his megaphone as flocks of actors, actresses, and make up artists ran hurriedly around the room. The man was tall and gaunt, and as the directions came so rose the stress level in the filming area. Cameras flashed and and soon the filming had begun.

  22. He leaned back leisurely in his chair with the ease of a captain at the helm of his ship. “One more time,” he tells us. Cameramen and costars scurry past, trying their best to replicate the way things had been a moment ago. The director furrows his brows critically, and I can tell even before he speaks that he isn’t pleased.

  23. Who is the director of my life, a question that everyone seems to ask. Something that plagues the very existance of our lives. Leading us to emptiness that we will never fill. We need to just seize the day and live for what is true. One love.

  28. Yesterday I was watching a vlog by Hannah Hart of My Drunk Kitchen and she mentioned that she’d never be able to be a director.
I’ve always wanted to be one because it’d be fun and I can express my mind through actors and art and music.

    It would be phenomenal.

Have you ever thought about what you were MEANT to do, instead of what you WANTED to do?

  30. Whoever is directing this movie must really like coincidences. We live miles apart but share similar experiences. It seems impossible, but they happen. But should I really be that surprised? We say that what we have is like a movie, a perfect romance film. Our relationship is something special and she’s my shining star. I don’t want this movie to ever end so keep directing director. I love what your work and I love her.

  36. The director of the show is the one in charge of everything, or at least thats how it seems. A great deal of effort came from us, the ones in the background. We were barely noticed.. only sought out by our family and friends that actually came to a show where we would not be seen, or heard, or noticed. We were the invisible.

  37. the director chose a different direction this time.

  38. The Director was on the line,
    he walked it perfectly, balanced
between the media and the talking heads.
    He carried a pistol and his reservations;
together they revolved around his head.
    He was the Director.

  39. “And action!” shouted the director. I froze. My mind was blank. I had no idea how to perform this scene. The entire concept as written had never been a part of my life. “Cut!” He was disgusted. “This is our sixth try. Don’t you have any idea what love is? Just tell him the lines!” He shouted. He moved dangerously close to my face, enunciating the words so close to me I felt spittle land on my lips. “I’m a woman. I know what love is. Now treat me like I’m your queen and make me sing your song,” he quoted from the script. “What the h*** is your problem?”
“I’ve never said such nonsense to a man, and I never would. Ever. It’s not real. No one ever speaks like that. The lines are asinine.”
“So make the lines real for you,” he snarled. “Draw on your personal experience and shake my f*****g tree. Ad lib it.” That I could do. He saw it in my eyes. I took my position. “Action!”
“I’m the woman you made me to be. You taught me what love is, remember? Just pretend I’m seven again, and this time, I’ll try not to throw up on your shoes when you touch me.”
The director never raised his voice to me on set ever again.

  40. so I went behind the scenes to meet the director of the movie, but he wasn’t what I thought he would be. a short little man, Italian, with a strong odor. I wasn’t sure what to say, but he didn’t give me a chance to speak anyways. he turned on his heels, upon turning his nose up at me, and said, “this will never do.” next thing I knew, they were cutting and coloring my hair. makeup, wardrobe and then I was thrust into a scene of what was sadly, really my life. and so, instead of playing out some sort of fantasy, I got to play me.
