  1. DInosaurs are pretty much the coolest animals alive. Don’t you try to tell me that they are not alive either, because they most definitley are. I love those little animals. I want to buy one as a pet, but they are so expensive. That’s probably a big reason people don’t think they are alive anymore. Oh well, i know they are real and when I save up enough money to buy a dinosaur, I will prove everyone wrong. Just wait and see, that dinosaur is going to be so awesome.

  2. everything changed in the land
    before time
before rules about what could and couldn’t be eaten
before the rain fell heavy as stones
    before something cracked the land
    swallowed the bones
    before the bones were
    swallowed by mountains
    things were different

  4. You are extinct in my world. The great crater left by what destroyed you is now where I play my garden games and host my barbeques. I am sorry if it hurts you to see my biosphere evolve but lets be honest: you Mr. Dinosaur had to go.

  5. He pulled the sleeves of his tattered tweed coat down and gripped them with his fingertips, imagining that it made him warmer. It didn’t really help.

He was getting to old for this, academia.

Maybe it was time to go tend his roses.

  6. I remember the first time I learned how to spell dinosaur in the first grade. We had a spelling test on it, and the word was displayed over the main door, and I was tempted to look at it, however, my honesty got the best of me. I ended up spelling the word wrong.

  8. dinosaurs are great because all children love them. When I was younger I wanted a dinosaur and when my dad was younger he wanted a dinosaur and when my mom was younger, SHE wanted a dinosaur. They’re good because they connect everyone. All children want cool things they cannot have. Too bad they’re lamer than we imagine. Those skeletons are not as cool as we think.

  9. my friend hannah thinks she looks like a dinosaur. someone once told her she did and i think that she is really insecure about it – she told me the other day on dofe. we were in the same tent and had this massive DMC about how shit everything is and how depressing it is and its so refreshing to know that i’m not the only one (apart from ella hahah) who thinks that… i don’t know but it’s relieving to know its not just m

  11. RAWRRRRR!
    I am a dinosaur!
Do you know what “rawr” means?
It means “I love you” in dinosaur..

    So umm…where was I?
    Oh yeah…RAWRRR!
    Hahaha, Rawr so much!
I just had to let you know!!

Is it weird that I can’t stop
    saying the one word “Rawr”?

  12. Dinosaurs!! Omg I want to go to Dinosaur World so bad. It’s one of the things I said I would do before I graduate. I was going to go this semester but then this new lack of a car thing really ruined that. But I’ve been dying to go there since before I even came to college. And I’ll be really sad if I don’t go there. I think I’ll have to make a summer road trip back down this way just so I can go to Dinosaur World!

  13. When she came to, her skin felt dry, her mouth parched, her teeth too large against her papery lips. This is what it’s like to be a dinosaur, she thought, but of course she wasn’t or she could have gotten out of there. She was just a lonely, scared girl with nothing left but dirt and air; perhaps more like a dinosaur than a human, after all.

  14. dead n extinct..interesting..intimidatingly huge..makes for interesting reading, studying, discovering n uncovering the past..fossils..T-REX!!

    by ankita on 05.03.2011
  15. ahh dinosaur well this reminds me of you, im sure you will approve. when i think of dinosaurs i think of the fact t-rex’s cant hug because they have little arms. isnt that so generic. sort of boring if im honest. wonder what you think about when you see this word. 1 minute seems a long time but its really not i havent typed that much. and i seem like im off on a tangent. the other dinosaur i think of is the pterodactyl(sp) and how similar they are to the creatures in Avatar i wonder how we would really adapt to living with Dinosaurs or whether we’d survive at all. I want a hug now unlike Mr T-rexi can get one :) good ey.

  16. The dinosaur’s sharp and jagged teeth sunk into Jack’s flesh and as it’s head jerked back, he was flung into the air. I covered my ears with my grimy hands so I wouldn’t hear his piercing scream from where I was crouched behind a boulder. Jack flopped back onto the dirt packed Earth and I could practically hear his bones breaking; It made me wince.

    “Get up, Jack!”
    …no reply

Now, I know it wasn’t the best idea to draw attention to myself in this situation but

  17. He was really an old dinosaur, I thought, staring at the back of my anatomy professor’s balding head. What right did he have to tell me I’d failed?

“Every right, he’s your teacher,” Ellie said when I brought it up. “That’s his job.”

It didn’t stop me from hating him with every fiber of my being.

    by Abby on 05.03.2011
  18. dinosaurs are awesome. I sometimes wish i had one as a pet. I wouldn’t ride it to school like i might have if i had one as a child. Now i would use it as an anit-rape weapon and as a ride to foreign places. Also, i would be above the law because, honestly, who is going to crack down on a girl with a pet dino that can literally eat you?

    by Janet on 05.03.2011
  19. I really didn’t think it would be so big. But there it is, looming over me, scales flaking, drool dripping. I mean, c’mon, I already get that you’re imposing on size alone. Is the drool really necessary? Although I suppose I shouldn’t be thinking such ridiculous thoughts, considering I’m standing in front of a dinosaur.

  22. He felt like a dinosaur. His bones ached. His head hurt. He didn’t understand why it was so cold outside. He couldn’t adapt to the changes. A dinosaur.

    by Zukey Jones on 05.03.2011
  23. there was a movie i once watched that ached with sadness it was called the land before time. it reminds me of scientists, big bones, bringing up baby, and evolution. it reminds me that sometimes I have no idea what I’ve been talking about and what I hope to learn or to live or to see. That those big bones present a mystery to even me.

    by Ylan on 05.03.2011
  24. Hana Uman is a dinosaur! That’s what we used to tease her about – we said she was SO old, when in fact she was only 23. Or maybe 22. But she’s this beautiful, young, spunky woman who got to look after us one summer. Even if we were all 10 year old brats, it was the best summer of our lives. And we had many more after that and she stayed with us.

  25. a giggle wobbled out of the toddlers mouth as his whole face smiled, enjoying the sound and site of two plastic dinosaurs ticking at contact. the preschool jungle.

  26. Ideals never go extinct. Even unpopular viewpoints will wither and die. The youth of the nations are always the torchbearers for new values. We seek truth with new eyes, casting away the shackles that held our predecessors. We strive for evolution alongside revolution. We walk among dinosaurs…

  27. you are a dinosaur. not in the sense that you are huge, or old. but you just stand out. everyone loves you. you aren’t a t-rex or a mean one, you are a friendly type. like barney? not as creepy. you are just a dinosaur to me. and i happen to love dinos. a real whole lot.

  28. The biggest word you could spell, because of Barney. We were the same age but I am studying anatomy and physiology and the works of Kate Chopin, and you can spell dinosaur because you watch it everyday. You are why I am in school, becoming a teacher.

  29. Dinosaurs, so controversial, we have never seen them in front of us yet we know that once upon a time they existed. Dinosaurs remind me of Jesus. We have the evidence that they both existed.

    by Jdee on 05.03.2011
  30. dinosaurs were believed to exist billions of years ago. We know of there existance due to the varying foscles found through out the world. There wer many differnet types that have been found and had varing diets. Through evolution some of there characteristics can be found in creatures today such as lizards.

    by Orla on 05.03.2011
  31. they’re little plastic things, crawling and roaring with as much gusto as they can muster. i remember being told they weren’t real and laughing, “then what is?” their world is mine and mine is theirs, these little vibrant dinosaurs.

  32. Once, there was a brown stegosaurus named Ron. He had spikes on his back and a long tail. He was a herbivore, meaning he liked to eat vegetation and not meat. One day, a green T-rex came out of nowhere and started chasing him. Then he bit his throat. Ron started bleeding as he fell to the ground and died. He was now a meal for the other dinosaur. The End

  33. Something that lived a long long long time ago.

  34. timothy drew a dinosaur. actually, that wasn’t completely accurate. timothy drew a dinosaur AGAIN. It was always dinosaurs. They covered his bed spread, they filled his toy box… what was it about these massive, extinct lizards that fascinated him so? His sister nancy was never sure but it always made her wonder if maybe he was seeing something she wasn’t. Maybe, to timothy, they weren’t extinct. maybe he looked up at the dizzying heights of adults, with their great, big voices and arbitrary behaviors and thought that THEY were the dinosaurs; strange, massive lizards that he could never understand but delighted in nonetheless.

  35. my sisters boyfriend. she calls him dannasaur. thats close to dinosaur, right ?

  36. Dinosaurs say rawr.
They’re extinct. Supposedly because a huge meteor hit earth and wiped them out. It’s sad. We probably could’ve tamed them as pets if they still existed. Imagine a dinosaur in your backyard. They could become our cars.

  37. Yesterday I found out that there was a dinosaur version of Google. It’s called Dinoogle. I guess its not THAT amazing but i mean…it is kind cool. hahaha

  38. Dinosaurs are the stupidest thing ever to have an obsession about. It’s interesting for history but I always hated little kids who drew pictures of dinosaurs when I was a little kid. I found out the brontosaurus isn’t real and my world has been shaken forever. That was the only interesting fucking dinosaur on the planet but it was all a dream. Now there’s just the shitty little Velociraptor who is basically a dinosaur chicken.

  39. “I once read a story about dinosaurs that scared me so bad I couldn’t sleep for two weeks.”

    “What was it about?”

The little boy paused and looked around and quietly said, “That they were still around and were listening to all the little kids who mentioned their names to attack!”

  40. My dinosaur ate a bunch of furniture this morning so I had to make a side trip to Ikea to pick up a new couch for the dinner party tonight. I’m really hoping that he’s good for now, because I really can’t afford a new coffee table.
