Aligned along the front of my home, I see a beautiful sight. The lights my eyes have been laid upon present a sublime and wondrous sense that I can barely comprehend. Sure, they’re just Christmas decorations, but they hold a simple beauty that fills my senses with pure joy.
In order to truly collect the memories of my experience, I had to adorn my armor with the medals given to me by the kings whose trust I’d earned. I would tell my children of these conquests, not because these were tales inscribed in my memory, but because I was always reminded to read behind the medal for a full story of that victory.

my house is not decorated. it’s a hodge podge of stuff. but there are no decorations. not really.
