  1. Daisy daisy bright and fraisy. I’m not even sure if fraisy is a word, I have my doubts since it’s underlined in red but that’s what I sing when I hear that commercial. Daisy daisy bright and fraisy, dip a dollar for Daisy’s! Hmm…

  2. I walk outside to see the flowers blooming in my backyard. some of them weeds, some of them not, all of them have some sort of purpose. Ahh summers in the northeast. Aside from the humidity, i couldnt think of any place i’d rather be right now. I see a yellow flower at my feet, not the right one, she wants a the one with white petals and a yellow center. Ah, here we go, found it. When i look up i see quite the scenic view. it puts me at ease.

  6. A lone daisy quivered in the chill breeze. It had been there since the first frost, and longed to be warm. Suddenly, it was munched by a cow. WOW!!! It couldn’t get over the warm, lush moistness of the cows mouth. Until it was swallowed, and left to reside in the everlasting sweatiness of the food chain.

  10. I played this word in scrabble this past week, and it made me think about how I envision San Fransisco; I created a metaphor that, in comparison to a place like New York City, living in San Fransisco is like rolling around in a daisy patch. “If you are going to San Fransisco be sure to wear flowers in your hair.”

  18. daisies and strawberries are all over the spring and summer greeting cards on the pharmacy card aisle. I needed a card for a friend who lived in the southern hemisphere where it was winter, not spring. They’ll be thinking about snow on their mountains, snow people, clearing the roads. It seems unfair to send tributes to sun and spring just now.

  22. They’re pure white. I somehow think thy’re childish, but maybe they’re not. Maybe they are just cute, wise and innocent at the same time. People ask them, if they’re loved, so they have to be wise. And innocent they are, because white things can’t be anything but pure.

  28. A flower stands alone in a green room. Its green stem blending so that the white petals seem to float above the ground. A circle, a crown of light surrounding the yellow heart of nature’s creation. Blown this way and that by the wind, torn up and made into a chain, life continues.

    by Shandy on 06.16.2008
  29. I like daisies. Well, I like saying I like them. In all honesty, I have no idea how I might really feel about them. I feel like all I ever say is absolute crap. I don’t really know if I believe any of this? Daisies are yellow or white, right? I don
‘t like them dyed. I wish I wouldn’t focus on what I don’t like. I wish I cpould just say what I do like about daisies. I do no tthink they are that great, though. I think they lack big blooms. They do not take my breath away and I do not remember their smell. They do not make a big difference in a room and I think they are rather boring, actually.

  32. There was a daisy on the lawn. It looked so pretty just sitting there. The sun even seemed to admire the free flowing prettiness of the flower. The wind gently caressed it. It was clearly the most precious thing in the universe. But then everyone loves a daisy. Whether it be a flower or a girl. There’s just something fresh about a daisy.
