(I didn’t write this but the word reminded me and I think everyone should listen to this band/song at least once in their lives, if not every single day)

I’m getting lost in your curls
I’m drawing pictures on your skin, so soft it twirls
I like your looks when you get mean
I know I shouldn’t say so but when you
claw me like a cat, I’m beaming
I like the way you squeeze my hand
    Pulling me into another dream,
    A lucid dream

I’m getting lost in your curls
I’m getting crushed out on the things
    that only I should see
they’re not for boys, they’re just for me
Hurry to talk from far away

I can’t see you, you curl your fists and you pull your hair
When we’re alone, I wanna say
Let’s just stay in, no one’s here in our apartment babe

Put on the dress that I like
It makes me so crazy, though I can’t say why
Keep on your stockings for a while
Some kind of magic in the way you’re lying there

I’m getting lost in your curls
I’m getting rushed back on a whim,
    Our purse gets ribbed
Back to the time when we were green
    I know we have changed
But I still grin ’cause I can’t wait to see you
Back to the time I touched your hair
When I was so scared you’d look at me and think it’s weird

I’m getting lost in your curls
I’m getting crushed out on the things that only I should see
they’re not for boys, they’re just for me
when you can talk from far away

    It’s so hard for me
Only to get the urge to kiss you there
When we’re alone, I wanna say
Let’s just stay in, no one’s here in our apartment babe

Put on the dress that I like
It makes me so crazy, though I can’t say why
Keep on your stockings for a while
Some kind of magic in the way you’re lying there

Put on your clothes that I like
It makes me so crazy, though I can’t say why
Keep on your stockings for a while
Some kind of magic in the way you talk about your

  4. Her long flowing curls were like the cold metal of a tesla coil. Her face was serene and white, but pale and cold as a bust. She was a girl, lovely as the sun, and burning like a fire. Curls were the deception.

    by Hector Gutierrez on 04.12.2010
  5. The pasta flew about her mouth as she pulled the strands up in through the vacuum of her lips. Her meal bounced around in motion like the banana curls of a little girl which occur naturally–instead of the hair-spray-induced coils that you see on the heads of many middle-aged women trying to look hip.

  11. Curls. They spin softly down a young maiden’s back, like a cascading waterfall, yet silent and beautiful. Do we dare touch them and ruin their perfect rings? Their color shines vibrantly, yet it’s something seemingly rare and confusing…. A curl is just a strand of hair, yet it’s so much more.

  12. my hair has curls and i only like them when my hair is long. my handwriting has lots of curls… i usually curl g, w, m, n, y, and r.

  13. Curly hair reminds me of Goldilocks. It pisses me off how she broke into the Three Bears house and made herself at home. Taking advantage of animals just because they won’t press charges. What bullshit.

    by Daniel Watson on 04.12.2010
  14. The way your hair does it, black, tight and short. The way your lips do it, crookedly. I want to stay in the curl of your arm and never leave. I forever wish to make your curly hair shake, as you smile your crooked smile, and you tell me how you’re so glad I’m here.

    by deidrene on 04.12.2010
  15. I love when men have curly hair. I think it may be the most beautiful kind of hair there is. The flowing texture of curls is amazing. Since my hair is straight, I envy people with curls. I love them. Reminds me of Jews.

  21. I have curls. Sort of. Sometimes my hair just goes strait for no apparent reason, and then I have curls in the back and flat frizzy non-curls in the front. This is frustrating for me, but a few people have told me that they like my hair like that, so ok. I’ve been told it has character.

    by Kara on 04.12.2010
  22. Curls are something I have always wanted. I have naturally very straight, thin hair and have always had to use moose, gel and curling irons to get the cutesy curl effect.

  35. Sophie had always had the cutest curls. But today, she was chopping them off. They had been bouncing on her head long enough, and she was sick of people pulling at them, day and night, night and day. Probably the biggest reason to get rid of them was Sam. Sam loved her curls. But Sam was the past, and she needed a new haircut for the present.

  38. I admire my curls, and giggle, thinking how nice they’ll look with my tux. I slip on my high heels, and fix my make-up, beaming at the crazy eyeshadow designs. I carefully smooth down my beard, check myself in the mirror again, and leave the house. I’m going to have a grand time. I just wish they wouldn’t judge my “gender”.
