OH, that was so evil. She thought for a moment, if he had violated the laws, but no, he was too clever for that. Criminal law would not save her from this kind of experience. Only her wit would, She would have to come up with a solution, and fast. After all, her baby wasn’t going to clean himself.

He’s always wanted to catch a criminal. it was one of the most goals he’d had h-the biggest goals he’d ever had in his entire life. Even thogugh everyone else would sometimes say, “what about becoming something else like a firefighter or something -don’t you want to become a policeman instead?” -like you always wanted to be instead?” -“What happened to you wanting to be a policeman?” He would say, no. Well, not really, because even after he USED to say he wanted to be a policeman, sometimes, the part of him that still wanted to be a policeman made him say, “Yes, but I’d also like to be -but I want to be a detective policeman.” And that’s when he got the idea.

Crime isn’t always bad. Sometimes laws are bad. If you remove the negative associations, could criminal be synonymous to hero? Or trailblazer? Or risk-taker? Or leader? I could think of a few examples. Mr. King, anyone?

The shoe peddler faced criminal charges, all in the first degree: Assault, theft, and even murder. Even so, he stared blankly at the members of the jury as he took the stand in the courtroom. His fingers twitched while his hand was on the worn down Bible proffered to him. And when he was ready to speak, it almost didn’t sound human.
“I,” he enunciated. “Sell. Shoes.”

It was criminal to think that I could be so arrogant. Why on earth did I believe that I could accomplish such a devious act? I was just an apprentice, not yet the full-fledged mage with the experience necessary to conjure such a spell. Still, I tried to resurrect my love. In the end, I would join her in the grave, by her own hands.

Criminal? throw him out, he´s a waste of food and water -she said, not lifting her head from the documents she was signing. He knew that was going to be her answer, but was it correct to leave a man out to die in the cold like that?

He hated being called that. Criminal. They just needed something to put sound to his actions. But really he was just trying to feed his sister and get one percent of the good luck those people seemed to have had their whole lives.

He was criminal scum. That was all there was to it. But why did I have to love him still? Even after he told me all the things he’s done, all the people he’s killed. I see past all that somehow and still love him as if it is the only thing keeping me alive.

maybe the way he stole my gaze read exactly what his identity was
a true criminal
drawing crimson from my lips
maybe the way he stole stars from my collarbone showed where his galaxy lay
i was another sun spot in his spectrum
another dead star laced onto his macrame chain

The Fiona Apple song “Criminal” played over the loud speaker in the store. Jae stopped to take some deep breaths. She was trying not to sweat but a song playing about the risks involved in what she was doing was making her shake even more. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Stan give the signal. Jae pulled the ski mask down over her face, pulled out her gun and moved toward the counter.

That’s a little dramatic.

One word is enough for the smooth criminal. That’s the ticket. I wonder if Sting ever considered a life of crime. If you live a life of crime, then you are a criminal. What constitutes a life of crime? Doing things that are against the law, natch! One word is enough for all of us!
