  20. when i think of this word, i think of those huge white birds i sometimes see at the creek. they always just stand there. i rarely ever see them fly. what mysterious birds, eh? what is their purpose? don’t they get bored standing there? i almost envy them. no responsibility. it must be nice.

  22. Is a crane the same as a heron? I don’t know the difference. I rather like big cranes that help to build tall buildings. I never know how they do the balancing thing with lumps of concrete but trust that someone else does. Otherwise stuff would fall on our heads.

  28. I was walking to class the other day. They are always doing construction on my campus. I never get to enjoy the serenity of nature, there is always something being torn down, erected or moved.

  40. paper cranes are beautiful, and gorgeous. I learned to fold them years and years ago. It’s amazing. When I was a child, I read a small book called Sadako and the Thousand paper cranes, where a girl, Sadako, was diagnosed with leukemia from the nuclear bombsi n the 40s.Her classmates folded 1000 paper cranes to grant her a wish, but she died before they were delivered.
