  11. Ik keek naar hem en moest moeite doen om hem niet in zijn gezicht te slaan. Eigenlijk was het helemaal niet zo moeilijk. Ik had dan wel mijn vuisten gebald, zo heftig dat de knokkels spierwit waren en dat ze trilden, maar ik had nog nooit iemand geslagen. Ja, mijn kleine zusje toen ik zes jaar oud was, maar mijn laatste gevecht vond plaats in groep zes tegen een meisje uit groep vijf en ik verloor jammerlijk, ook al ben ik een jongen. Ik durf niemand te slaan. Ik ben een lafaard.

  12. There is a fine line between cautiousness and cowardice. I think I’ve crossed that fine line. I always doubt myself. Why do I do that? I know I have the ability to do anything, but for some reason, I don’t trust myself with anything. I could’ve been so great, but my insecurities hinder me from achieving what I should be.

  16. We are all cowards. The word cow is in coward. This freewriting thing is harder than I thought. No one some of my students don’t last the full time. I wonder if they would like this site. Okay, I’m supposed to be writing about coward. When have I been a coward? Many times. Today, for example. I couldn’t muster up the courage to go into school. Why? I’m afraid of the chaos of school.

  18. My cousin is a coward. She participates in ignoring me along with my mother and pretends like she doesn’t know what’s going on when I confront her about it. She hasn’t talked to me in weeks–I referred to her as a coward a few days ago so I thought it was perfect to talk about her in this posting. She’ll probably continue hiding and I’ll have to be the one to initiate conversation. Ugh.

  21. I wonder immediately when I have been a coward. I suppose all the time I tried to be anything other than exactly who I was. Perhaps cowardliness isn’t so much action and behavior as it is conviction.

  22. this reminds me of severus snape. in book 6, harry potter calls him coward after he kills dumbledore. snape takes great offense to it as harrys dad used to bully him using that name. the truth is, he is one. i HATE snape.
