I have a hard time committing to anything… seriously anything. doing homework, having friends… having a relationship… I want one so badly but I don’t think I can commit to someone because I always worry about what I’ll be missing… can we ever be really committed to something if we wonder what else is there. What do you commit to?

  8. I give my life to save his. I’ll cross oceans,and climb mountains. When i committed my life to his safety and well being, i knew it involved sacrifices; but not like this. Its too late now. No turning back, I’ve got to do this, because my son means the world to me. His special abilities attracting too much attention. Now, excuse me while i rescue him.

  23. Never could it be more relevant than with the living. The commitment of love and life everlasting is promised, but who can prove? Commit to something painful or purposeful, it requires the same conviction. Commitment is a justification. A continued restatement of fact. Over and over.

  24. no one really thinks to commit. people just go go go, and think about themselves. so what if someone else comes up? commitment isn’t ever the issue, it’s the person. they never want to realize who they are, or just tell the person that they’re with that they don’t want to be with them. balls up.

We commit every day without thinking about it…commit to driving, to smoking, to trusting people we’ve never met or talked to with our lives. We commit to living without ever considering whether or not that is the best possible choice…it probably is..but who’s to say?

I think that people should try to commit only when they’re ready for what they’re getting themselves into I’m in a relationship with a girl that I care about more than I have words for and I’m glad that I’ve committed but I really didn’t know what I was getting myself into but all in all I’m happy about it.

  40. To commit is to put one thing first. It is the sole drive to finish a certain task or focus on the main object. This means you disregard the distractions around you and focus. This is challenging for some, but others make it look great. To commit is to not cheat.
