  1. This word describes so many people I know. They are not cheap in as much as they are unwilling to share what they have. Is this cheap too? I not sure but I’m sure it may fit.

  3. Cheap as chips. Cheap doesn’t always mean good value for money, especially when you fall into the trap of buying something which you think is cheap but you don’t even need! We all love a bargain and it can be cool to compare notes – considering the amount of charity shops there are about we could be talking forever about bargains – much better than talking about the many times most of us are ripped off. Happy shopping/spending.

  4. How do people find things for cheap? Even if I’m shopping for good deals or sales i always end up just buying more because I think well hey this is on sale, let me buy it in every single color. So I then end up losing more money….I am not cheap.

  5. My Mother is cheap. Not in the fact that she is ‘easy’ or a ‘whore’ or similar, but in the way that she is stingy. Supermarket Brand Products fill our shopping cart so that we can save an extra couple of cents, buying in bulk is an absolute necessity!

    by Tianah on 03.01.2011
  6. i like cheap clothes. They are like good value for money. Let me take a lot of stuff. I mean, if I can get more for less, why not. But then, there are cheap guys. Getting more of them is bad. It’d be great if we could just blast them off the face of earth.

  9. Tricks. Mind games. Sunglasses for a dollar at H&M. Clothes that seem to be fitting of your personality, but fray at the edges upon washing once or twice. Shoes at Charlotte Russe. Cutting corners. Not living to your fullest; ignoring expectations of others just to live in mediocrity.

  10. Cheap. The essence of being worthless or near worthless. Sometimes expensive quality things can be inexpensive. This can be ‘cheap’. People can be cheap. Low quality. Near worthless. Likewise, sometimes good, high quality people can be made to feel worthless. This too is cheap. It’s an unfortunate feeling, when someone makes you feel inadequate or less than you’re really worth. No one likes to feel like an item, used, dis-regardable, replaceable.

  11. I have always loved traveling to Asia. Among all the stalls in various markets, the local people would always shout out “hey, you, come here! I sell you cheap price!” I love walking around, seeing all the various goods on sale. You never know what you might find!

  12. Linens labeled Egyptian Cotton. A complimentary mini-bar. His & Hers plush robes. Turn-down service that includes Belgian chocolates. An unobstructed view of the ocean. This hotel is not cheap. The time spent here will more than justify the expense. She can hardly wait.

  13. Cheap! god I hate this word. It revolves around no conception of value. My mother is allured with cheapness. She buys many pointless menial things because they are cheap. They are soon deserted into the far corners of the loft or thrown away. Our society is driven by cheap. Why can we not go one step under and begin to appreciate the things that are free?

    by James on 03.01.2011
  14. i wish life was cheap, then every one could afford everything they want. but life isn’t cheap and in not being cheap it’s what makes life precious. meaning that even though life is hard we should treasure it because life is precious

  18. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. The rich people who buy their $6.00 lattes and argue over the 2 cents they didn’t get back and why the sales tax has gone up and whether or not you charged them extra for syrup (which costs extra, by the way).

    Cheap.

  35. I already wrote about this word. This is boring if everyone is getting the same words in the same order – really CHEAP, like, honestly. I want my money back! Or at least a new word that takes me by surprise, leading me to something unexpected, dynamic, strong and RICH. Yes, that’s what I said!

  36. Cheap shoes. In college we said “look at a guy’s shoes” when we were in “pickup” mode: bad shoes, cheap shoes, all signs of a bad character. Not a bad rule of thumb. Why is “frugal” good and “cheap” bad?

  37. “That’s what you think of me? Cheap?” She spits out her gum, not caring that it hit the body of a black cat living in the alleyway. “You know what I give you? Happiness.” She walks away, red high heels going click-clack-click-clack. He knows that she is right. He also knows it’s immoral.

  38. Things that break easily are cheap. People that don’t have value in themselves are cheap. Birds make a sound such as this “cheap cheap”. The sound of plastic squeaking on new boots is cheap. People who never want to spend money are often called cheap but are they really just frugal and waiting for something better to purchase?

  39. There is a large difference between ‘cheap’ and ‘inexpensive’ but I suppose to some, that is semantics. The thing is, some will buy an item for it’s price, regardless of its value … and in the end, that is quite expensive! What is most important is to know what you value, so you know what to spend your hard-earned money on, so you will not be a king of things with no wealth.
