  1. The channel flipped on, I stare mindlessly into what Nietsche would call the ‘abyss’… I don’t know about that, but it’s entertainment. Chuck Palahniuk siad that big brother is singing an dancing, not watching us… he makes us watch him… So the channel is flipped on, and I think it’s a game shwo… or a reality show, whatever they call it these days. Someone getting paid tro do what they see other people do.

  2. If I could channel my energy anywhere, it would be towards you. If I could channel my sight anywhere, it would be towards you. If I could channel you anywhere, it would be towards me.

  3. I sit here and watch tv.
Going through every channel trying not to think of you.
    It’s not working..
Everywhere there is love, why not here.
    We should be like this.

  4. I’ve never once dreamed of swimming the English Channel. Why do it? What is the purpose? Risking death simply to say you could swim that far seems ridiculous to me.

    by Sue on 05.09.2009
  5. channel? change it. no seriously change the channel. change the word. how can you expect all of us, each one of us, to run on the same system, same channel, same planet? one day, we will rise. one day, we will ascend, and on that day the world will operate on a new channel, with a new tune.

    by Chris Olmsted on 05.09.2009
  6. channel like in the english bay, where all the rists flock to feed all the neasty little son of a bitch pigions, or the tv channel, like fox or porn today or something. Well, english bay or not, the water has a sense of calmness, like I could float down and down and not be afraid, because i am not afraid of going under.

  7. I like to channel my creativity into song. It allows me to express myself emotionally in a way that I also find very entertaining. My family finds this outlet slightly bizarre, but I don’t care.

  8. cross the channels
    the echoes in your mind
    filled with water
    iced over and solid
    bring yourself down once again
i’ll be there to bring you back up
melt the channels in your mind

  9. oh gosh. i always fantasize about channeling like they do in the Wot series. that would be amazing. or just living in that book in general. those books? there are more than one. anyway, yes. i would love to channel. would it make me bad? i really don’t know.

  10. you’re channelling a spirit, my old spirit. it’s like I never left, a ghost of what is here.

I’m only a spirit, and nothing can bring me back.

so if you’ll please let go of my dress, the translucency that is somehow being held onto, I’d like to move past what once was and go onto the future where life is beyond what is material.

I’m a ghost, can you stop channelling my spirit?

I love you, but let me move on, it’s like the rain never hit my veins.

    by Samie on 05.09.2009
  11. if only I could channel all of my ideas and thoughts into my everyday. It would be so inspiring, like watching your favorite channel.

    by ariane on 05.09.2009
  12. I need to channel you. I need to channel your confidence, your light. Because I feel like I don’t have much of my own. I’m the dark to your light. I don’t often consider it a fault, but sometimes I just wish I were as brave as you.

    by Kate on 05.09.2009
  13. A path, between people or places. There are channels within me that funnel hot red liquid from one essential place to another, there are channels in Venice that allow lovers to show how much they want nothing more than to spend time with each other. But the channeling I am most interesting is that which I share with you; the person who I may impact, but never meet.

  14. The river ahead was large, tumultuous and looked steadfastly cold. It must have numbed the fish in its cradle and broken the stone in its bed.
It would be perfect to keep my body.

  16. i have many favorite channels. its funny though how much my tastes have changed. I used to be obsessed with mtv and vh1 and its funny because now i barely even watch tv. i thought tv would be my outlet forever, but i guess not. and thats cool, i feel like a loser when i watch too much tv in one sitting anyways. i have a life! so thanks television!

    by pete s on 05.09.2009
  19. He changed the channel of that old show. Suber didn’t like black and white television shows just like he didn’t like marble or chess. Suber was a man of expression and anything uniform, he either ignored or sought to break down.

  20. channel is the path to where you can acquire and know something. it could be on tv, using a cellphone or any devices

  21. It was a long way across the channel even though it was possible to see land on the other side. It was even longer, considering the enemy was hot on his heels and he had no way to get across. His mind raced as he considered his options –

  22. He was flipping through the channels, but nothing was on. Damn, how had he ended up like this? Sitting on the couch in his apartment, eating potato chips. The stereotypical, generic couch potato. He used to have potential. He was going to have a future. Then he squandered it all and now, he was wasting away.

    by vish on 05.09.2009
  23. The small stream connected to the larger one. Rapids arose from either side providing quite a maunverablilty challange. The small kayak slide effortless through the still water into the rough rapids. The kayak rocked and bashed into the challenger and gave quite a wild ride.

  24. Channel. Flip. Next channel. Flip.
Deciding what to watch on TV, a pastime of many. You know, the French call it ‘zapping’? Je fais du zapping!
    1000+ channels and nothing.

  25. TV, that’s the first work that comes to mind. Then, “to channel” something, like a medium. Medium… media… back to the TV.

    by Van on 05.09.2009
  26. The channel in the water was narrow, but I could see the sluggish muddy water moving slowly in. Soon the channel would overflow, and the tide would bring in more muddy water to this little inlet behind my house. In the channel were little fish, swimming happily and not knowing of the larger river just feet away.

  29. TV is a great thing, as it can provide entertainment, information, and much more in one service. While this role is rapidly being taken over by the internet, TV still has a place, offering many different things on many different channels, as well as digital content.

  30. Where do I channel my emotions to now? It is like a re-connection phase, where I have this velocity of emotions screaming to get out, and yet the orifice is plugged. Create the channel or soon it will burst and who knows what the outcome will be?

    by cupcake on 05.09.2009
  31. The channel was crowded today. Amelie steered her little motorboat to the most clear path: straight through the middle. Hopefully, there would be too much distance and boats in between her and the world before it caught up to her.

    by Anna H, on 05.09.2009
  32. Of all the channels I’ve watched, I have never found one that transmits the programming I crave. I have seen nudity, profundity, even a talking horse, but what I really want to see on the screen is the moment when the spirit leaves the body. Not some hokey projection or superimposed nimbus. I want to see the essence ascend triumphant!

  37. He changed the channel. Nothing of interest at all. Bleak were the streams of public entertainment at 3am. It’s been a while since he left the house. Unfortunately for him, it was also raining, and cold. But he had to.
