  1. This is what is inside a lampshade, used to make light in a room. It is also planted to grow some kinds of plant, usually ones which grow in spring.

  2. there’s a 60 watt light bulb in the desk lamp in front of me. it heats up the black cover so quickly and so well that within a few seconds it becomes almost unbearable to touch. underneath it, are my worms, my pets. they bask in the light, or hide from it. i’m not sure which, as I can’t talk to them.

    that damn stupid meeting
    i didnt wanna even write the piece to begin with but my boss said if you dont get the scoop you are finished.

  8. The bulb blew and Frances jumped! O no! This was a very bad time for this to happen. She had lost not only her contacts, but had dropped her glasses and she was also pretty sure that the strange shadow moving in the corner was a burglar…she was ever so slightly terrified.

  12. daffodils in the gorund come from blubs, bulbus. pus. ive got a spot and its something so awkward and teenager-y but im nearly NOT a teenager which scares me so much. i dont want to deal with the bulbus pus-y thing on my forhead and go to school and have please see it and laugh

The window was stained and cracked from a baseball that had been thrust through the glass by one of the neighborhood boys. But that was years ago. Now the house was just a shell, but still the light bulb glowed with life.

  15. It’s bright, shiny, and often represents a wonderful idea. It’s something that we see every day but don’t really realize the importance of it until it is no longer working anymore. It could also be a flower bulb, something that brings us great joy when it blooms. Whether it’s something that we plant or something that hangs from the ceiling, it’s bound to bring a smile to our faces as we are able to see things in a new light.

  16. the other day i decided that i wanted to have a garden. i went to the hardware store of all places to try and find some rose bulbs. i decided that these would be the best course of action due to the ease of planting and almost assured production. the only problem, was that when i got home i was too lazy to do anything about it.

  17. Can a light bulb change the world. The curly Q light bulbs, as my husband calls them, sure can make a difference. We changed all the light bulbs in our house to CFLs and it really did make a difference in our electric bill. Plus it feels good knowing that we are making a difference to the environment.

I used to grt baby chicks and put a bulb in their box to keep them warm which also kept them alive,When i lived in Ny the weather was so cold that we use to put a bulb in our car overnight to keep the motor warm so the car would start in the morning. I also like colored bulbs because you can use them

  21. So this one time I was screwing in this light bulb and I accidentally put my finger in the socket while it was on. Needless to say I received a nasty shock. I also once ate a whole onion bulb which was pretty good. Well times almost up.

  23. the bulb was switched on in what was the shadows an evil lurched ready to pounce on the unsuspecting victim. the evil was a japanese little red riding hood look alike that was colour blind so was wearing blue.

  24. there’s a light in the room. it shines brightly because of a high power bulb. if i touched it i’d probably burn myself. yeah! i suppose i should be careful. however, i should be more careful since the bulb is about to die and i need to change it soon.

  27. Most commonly I think of light bulbs. I guess a bulb is anything that has sort of a round shape; the term bulbous comes to mind but that is a but redundant. I know there are flower bulbs that you can plant in order to grow other flowers. Most likely lightbulbs got their name from these.

  29. There are bulbs that are like seeds of plants, and there are light bulbs. Some people have bulbous butts. I guess they all have that bulbousness in common, I mean bulbs that are like seeds are bulbous and light bulbs are bulbous and bulbous butts are bulbous. Bulb is kind of a weird word which looks weirder and weirder the more you look at it.
