  1. will this website always give me bulb,
I am tired of this word,
It is something that lights up my room,
something that lights up the trees in the spring,
    It does not sound important
    but it is.

    by Ashley Eccles on 10.20.2008
  2. bulb, the bulb is dim today…i’m so tired…I want to shake my head and wake myself up…turn the light on, change the bulb and make it bright again. he lights up my life like a mega watt bulb, I can’t imagine my life without him anymore. wow, kinda scary but lovely

  3. Bulb is the shape of a work colleague’s head. The bad thing about this is that he is balding quite baldy (sorry, I meant badly.) And the wise thing to do normally would be to go for the retired criminal look like Phil Collins in Buster or something but his head is such a bulbous shape he already looks like a fool and a bit Casper-ish.

  4. it shone so bright, though did hurt my eyes quite a bit and used far too much electricity… maybe i should turn it off every now and then. or use a candle, that would certainly save my eyes and a bit of electricity, which is a great thing these days, especially with the price of glasses and i’m not so keen on them anyhow… don’t want to look intellectual or that… but i suppose you can plant them in gardens too which is nice. not now though as it’s coming up to winter, but in spring when the sun comes and the days begin to get longer, how nice that would be. though of course i need a garden! I have some pots, i know next spring i shall do that. though not sure what flowers.. maybe better veg, then i can eat it all, yum yum!!

  5. The light bulb flashes at the top of my head and i begin to smile. i’m glad you lit up my life.

    by Kelvin Spears on 10.20.2008
  6. The light bulb is an amazing invention. It rbings light with a filament and replaced candles. Althought candles are still used as a symbol of romance. The romantic origin of candles is not known, but they are certainly easier to put out than lights, just blow! Candles are a much more primitive form of the lightbulb, with both relying on different types of fire or sparks. A candle has a naked flame while a light bulb has an electrical current through a filament.

  7. did you see the light bulb?? the color of it?? I always thought a red light meant prostitution. sometimes i wonder if a person’s bulb is ever quite lit up. have you ever seen an ugly bulb of a flower only to realize that in a matter of weeks it can turn in to the most beautiful flower???

  10. The light on the ceiling was flickering and the water leaked in from the roof. It was such a cliche thing to be living that I was disheartened by the lack of originality. I felt like a hack. I took socks out the the drawer and started throwing them at the light to break it.

  13. I slipped as I ran faster and faster through the pouring rain right into a puddle of muck.
“Could this get any worse?” I mumbled to myself. I didn’t get up until my whole body was completely numb.
Sighing to myself i started up again, splashing myself as if i could get any wetter.
I think if I could see myself my skin would be pale with cold and my lips would take on a blue. Perhaps even my hair would hang in brown icicles?
A light came toward me and i summoned up the voice enough to croak “Hello?”
The light moved faster closer and closer toward me ’till i could determine the shape of a bulb in a lamp.

On the shelves in Fred Meyer

And have no time for potential beauty

  36. I placed you in the ground
Hoping against hope that you would grow
    Into a testament to myself

To burst forth from the earth
    Declaring that someone
    Once cared enough
    To pick a spot
    And place you in it,
Delicately covering you with a soft layer of earth
Hoping and praying for you to be an answer
    To their dreams.

  37. The bulb went out as they entered the house. They slowly walked towards the fireplace looking for shelter from the windy night. They had been tracked by wolves for over 356 miles and were exhausted from not having eaten in several days. It was truly dark in the house without the aid of the light.

  38. The bulb was small, but I wondered where it belonged. There were so many different Christmas ornaments my mother had – what would make this one so special to be saved, alone, in original packaging? I unwrapped it and wondered why it was there. The box was completely cleaned out and nothing was left inside. I suppose it was for some memorable decoration…
