  1. The meal between breakfast and lunch, people eat stuff at this time, but only snobs call it brunch right? I don’t think I have used the word brunch more than maybe 3 times in my life. Writing this article, I’m sure I’ll say it more than I have in the last 20 years. I don’t see the point of saying brunch.

  11. brunch

My mother used to have a teal plastic plate set. Possibly Bakelite. VERY teal with some lighter shades of teal and some white/yellow/green daisies. She used these outside when she had guests over for a special occasion, like brunch. Funny to me that a set of plastic plates was perceived by me to be the “special” plates :)

  13. I don’t know if I ever liked
    brunch
never liked it until that day
you took me to the cafe
    on the corner
    cliches and
    we drank chocolate shakes
    for hours and hours
    belgian waffle eyes
    sunken in and the syrup
    leaked from them into
    my heart
    and brunch
    was never the same
    since then.

  17. Brunch, seems interesting. It’s just a time to eat. Even though nobody really writes about it, I’m supposed to. So, it’s actually simple, casual, a time where the strict hours to eat such as breakfast and lunch are not applied and made into an improvised time to eat, brunch. Even though there isn’t a big difference with the other times to eat, brunch is simplicity in it’s all, no sticking to the schedule, just brunch.
