  6. its the word that you use when you want to know the minimum amount of info about a certain situation or thing. You want the best facts and best parts of this one thing. short and good. Brief is never the short cut but more the right way of saying things with out going overboard.

He was a strange character, yet I couldn’t help but have my interest piqued.

  11. A window opened for a brief second, wind flew open and carressed my face. It lasted just a brief second, then it was over. I walked to the window and shut it. The last thing I needed was a broken window, but there were many problems in the old house I grew up in. Many problems that needed to be fixed but never were, and probably never would be. I lay on the bed I laid on so many times as a child, with my siblings in the beds across the small room.
