  2. building blocks, as a child were one of my favorite things. Never followed the instructions either, so I always ended up with extra, or not enough. But mine were better that they were meant to be.

  3. I used to walk for blocks and blocks. No destination really in my mind, I just wanted to go somewhere. It helped me think; get all of my emotions out to the front of my thoughts. I wish I did that more these days.

  6. Blocks are used for building stuff. Not just buildings, but everything can be looked as being consisted of building blocks. These are important because they make stuff the way it is, whatever that might be. The sound of the word.

  16. loved to play w them when i was little. they were fun to stack and then topple over. pretty colors most of the time although sometimes they got dirty and then i didnt want to play w them anymore. for some reason they always ended up in the sandbox.

  19. Blocks are colorful cubes, normally saying the alphabet. Children love to play with blocks, and the best thing to do is knock down an entire tower of blocks. Our high school is on the BLOCK system

  32. SO, I was sitting there just staring at these aqua colored blocks. They were huge. Gigantic. All I could think about was how big they were. All I could ask myself was, what the hell are they doing here? Why are they in that position? Maybe I was imagining them. Maybe they were blocking me. I think my mind created them all by itself.

  33. My children used to play with blocks. Anna was the builder, Jon the destroyer. She called him Hurricane Jon and was not fond of the weather. Whe he got older, he got better at playing “make” as they used to call it, rather than just delighting in the destruction.
    I miss the days of making breakfast to such art.

  37. What on earth blocks me from opening up to others, I wonder. There is always a wall, a blockage. I wonder why I am such way. I wish to tear these blocks down, but to no avail. I guess I’ll just have to live with it.
