Ainslie always got the same thing; a samwich for herself, and a hot dog for Kyra. They would eat, and the lay in the sand for half an hour, while their meals digested, then play some more. Maybe, today she would make a sand castle.
I had a blast today. Wonderful weather, beautiful scenery. It was a fabulous time and a fabulous place to spend an afternoon. My little grandson had a blast too. He befriended a beautiful tree and talked to it asking questions about who lives in the tree and if the tree likes it there

“It wasnt my fault, truly, master. The others from the forest stole it while i was away.”
“meh, all men are the same. I told you to keep an eye on it. Now we’re back where we started, meathead!”

He ran down the stairs passing his shaken mother, to find his father being held for ransom by the small purple alien. As the boy noticed that his father was in distress, the boy remembered aliens don’t like hotdogs.
My life is a blast. Most people would say that it is an explosion of fun, but I like to shorten it to just being a blast. Explosions of crazy things and crazy people.
