  8. The bees buzzed around her face, but for once she was not afraid. She smiled at the tiny creatures as they flitted around her, and only waved lightly when they ventured too near her for comfort. Sitting on the blanket in the warm spring breeze, staring off at Sugarloaf Mountain in the background, and enjoying his quiet, happy presence beside her, she wondered whether she might be the luckiest girl in the world.

  17. The bee stung me like the crisp bite of a December wind, darting at my face as I opened the doors. Dad said they wouldn’t sting me, that we were far enough away, but it looks like he didn’t account for that one guard bee who was doing his honorable duty of protecting his hive. Allegiance is a strange thing; it makes people stick their stingers in other people even if it means they die.

    Rebecca
  18. Bee as in “be.” No, such is ridiculous. It’s just a cute little creature of sorts, victim of its own painful sting. Now that is beeing.

  22. bee is the insect which is popular for collecting honey. Though now-a-days artificial honey is available at most of the places but natural honey, with its own unique method of extraction remains my preference. Also honey has no side=effects like sugar so is used mostly as a substitute for sugar for those who are generally suffering from diabities

picnic tables are never the same.
I try and find the write words to describe just how curious I am, but I am afraid I am overruled.

  24. I had a math problem about bees for homework last night. I don’t know if I got it right. It was a stupid proof. I’m not a math major I shouldn’t have to prove anything. Just give me the equations and I’ll solve them. I don’t really need or want to understand them. I’m never going to use them again. 2 + 2 I’ll use. Not the fundamental theorem of calculus.

  35. Once upon a time there was a bee. He lived in a hive. He was a male bee, so he didn’t have a lot of responsibilities. All he ever had to worry about was reproducing. Female bees produced all the honey and did all the work. All he was used for was to further his race. His duty was fulfilled, and he died. The end.
