Baffled is a word that means confused, or dumbfounded. An example of the word baffled is, “I was baffled about the answer to the math problem.” Baffled is a fun word to say. Baffled can ironically be a confusing word, as it means confused. The antonym of baffled is anderstanding. I am baffled as to what to write, so I will stop. You’re probably baffled why I am still writing when I said I would stop, because I didn’t. Well, I lied.

Baffled: Part II. ‘Cause there’s nothing wrong with having a part two. Take a look at The Suburbs by Arcade Fire and you’ll see what I mean.

He stared, baffled, at the large rock. Someone had just run through it, but that someone clearly hadn’t noticed that they were running through a massive solid boulder.
He rapped his knuckles on the rock. No hollowness, no give, no cracking. No sense of it being an illusion.
How could he run through it too?

I am totally baffled on how a person could be so cruel one moment, and then turn around and expect everything to be alright. This may take some time.

The concentration I’d built up as I worked on my article over the past 45 minutes was shattered with Kendra’s outburst.
“No, I don’t fucking care if you don’t remember! It’s not my job to remind you of every little fucking thing, Dave!” She stood up so quickly her chair spun out behind her, her empty coffee mug toppling over on its side. She stalked out of the shared office, hot tears streaming down her cheeks as she stubbornly wiped them off.
Denise raised her eyebrows. I shrugged. “I’m just as baffled as you are,” I said.

I’m baffled. I don’t know if I’m chasing after him because I really want to be with him or if I know deep down he will never want me so there’s no real risk on my part. I need to find out quick because it isn’t that my biological clock is ticking, my ACTUAL clock is ticking. Faster every day.

When I first looked at the flat pack instructions I was really baffled but now I seem to have worked it out. Hence one very useful coffee table!

She didn’t understand. It wasn’t what she was used to. She thought it was going to be something completely different, but in the end… she was left baffled. What possessed him to ask such a thing? Temporary insanity?

I’m so confused! What does this all mean? This crazy thing that we call life? It’s maddening, and it doesn’t make any sense, and who decided that this would be a good idea? That we would have to procreate by interacting with other people, and ripping ourselves in half, and screaming to bring into this world a tiny new spirit so that they can grow up and realize that all of this isn’t worth it.

I was baffled as he entered the room. His lips curled into a smile, and I couldn’t awert my eyes. He was dazzling. Wonderful, lovely. And I was charmed by his bright smile, lips so full, and red I couldn’t look away.

All of the leads all ran into one big jumble. They made no sense. How was the murderous clown at the diner at the same time he was at the circus? Did he have a double? Maybe there were two of them. Jon didn’t know much, but he did know that clowns were not his forte.

You leave me baffled. The way you mess with my head and jerk my emotions around. What do you want? Why do you do this? I hate you, I love you. The way you are leaves me simply… baffled.
By Jossy on 10.21.2013

People say that life has many twists and turns. It can take you one way, then suddenly veer off in an unexpected direction.
As are people
The problem with people is, we all have our own thoughts. We cant control other people. So when they look us in the eye and betray us, we feel distraught, and utterly confused.
