    Its confusing

    As are people

    The problem with people is, we all have our own thoughts. We cant control other people. So when they look us in the eye and betray us, we feel distraught, and utterly confused.

  4. All of the leads all ran into one big jumble. They made no sense. How was the murderous clown at the diner at the same time he was at the circus? Did he have a double? Maybe there were two of them. Jon didn’t know much, but he did know that clowns were not his forte.

  9. I’m so confused! What does this all mean? This crazy thing that we call life? It’s maddening, and it doesn’t make any sense, and who decided that this would be a good idea? That we would have to procreate by interacting with other people, and ripping ourselves in half, and screaming to bring into this world a tiny new spirit so that they can grow up and realize that all of this isn’t worth it.

    When did everything get so complicated? How did my control over my environment falter. I am failing 2 of my classes and I am an AP and honors student. I want to disappear. Oh well, I’ll figure it out in the morning.

  14. I’m baffled. I don’t know if I’m chasing after him because I really want to be with him or if I know deep down he will never want me so there’s no real risk on my part. I need to find out quick because it isn’t that my biological clock is ticking, my ACTUAL clock is ticking. Faster every day.

  15. The concentration I’d built up as I worked on my article over the past 45 minutes was shattered with Kendra’s outburst.

    “No, I don’t fucking care if you don’t remember! It’s not my job to remind you of every little fucking thing, Dave!” She stood up so quickly her chair spun out behind her, her empty coffee mug toppling over on its side. She stalked out of the shared office, hot tears streaming down her cheeks as she stubbornly wiped them off.

    Denise raised her eyebrows. I shrugged. “I’m just as baffled as you are,” I said.
