Something that defines the way i act and the way i spend my time. Something that engraves moments that are so special, so unique, that i can look back at them and be perfectly aware of my exsistence. Awareness is key.

I am aware that the planet is in trouble and that people are busily focused on the intensity of the green color of their front lawns or if there are enough activities in their childrens’ lives to ensure that they will grow up to be obedient overconsumers of things, food, and people. I don’t know if it counts for anything, but I really believe that it would be a boon to our Earth if everything did grind to a total halt and all of our current expectations crumbled into the dust of possibility. Perhaps in the quiet and stillness of the moment we would find that we can actually like ourselves again.
