i am amazed at how you thought of that word and i am actually writing about it. i don’t really think i have that much time to write a story so I’m just writing some stuff.um well k i think i messed up but i don’t feel like starting over so I’m just gonna keep writing… well this is kinda boring just writing some random stuff. i hope i don’t loose!
I’m really mostly amazed at what i DO have, but then for some reason it just seems to be not enough. i hate it. HATE. HATE HATE HATE. And then I hate myself for it. Why is there so much hate everytime I get involved in something? As if everything I do is wrong. But I want to be amazed at everything i see. This beautiful world. But I miss it, often. And I shouldn’t. I need to pay attention
She looked up to the sky, taking in the lights of the incessantly moving shuttles and above them, slower but so much more stately, the spaceships carrying supplies and travelers between planets as they readied themselves for the spatiotemporal leap. Amazed and terrified, she wondered just where she had landed.
i was amazed at how clean everything was. she must have spent the whole night awake, scrubbing away and perfecting the stroke of the toilet brush. i do not doubt i could have eaten off of her floor. the shoes were neatly arranged in a shoe dispenser close by and everything else was in its place.
i saw this unicorn and i couldnt believe my eyes it was the most fantastical thing i’d ever seen even better than the purple penguin that i stumbled upon at the zoo before we met at weaver street market for a hot chocolate and croissant i cant believe all my professors were there either. they all had nice things to say about my graduation and congratulated me on my grad school endeavors
I was amazed the day I met you. I was amazed at how you made me feel. I am amazed we are not still together, and I will never understand why. I am amazed at how when I see you we have not missed a beat, and I am amazed that after I leave you still dont want me.

Amazed by rhetoric that seem to pour out of the mouths of strangers, that think his curly hair makes him creative, that his dark brown skin means he won’t burn in the sun, that his ability to speak English well is miraculous, or that listening to classical music makes him a rarity, a spectacle. If stranger want to better understand him, he thinks, is not better to just ask then make uninformed guesses.

I was amazed with last night’s concert. I never thought we could pull it off as well as we did. I was stunned when it was over. Partly because I had used so much air to play as loud as could for four pages that I was close to passing out and partly because we’d done it. We actually made it! And my solos rocked. I got lots of compliments that made my night.
Okay, amazed…. um. Well when I think of amazed I think of becoming speechless in awe of something. Just gazing at something and letting that one act or object just astound ever part of my conscience for that one glimpse of a moment of awe.

Sometimes you look at the word amazed and think of rainbows and unicorns but in truth it is so much more. Amazed means that you take the time to see even the most little things because everything is amazing. Amazed is sort of the way some people feel about being alive because it is truly amazing.
He wasn’t amazed at the thing, in and of itself, just at the fact that it still existed. That it still had the temerity, the sheer audacity to interrupt his dully plodding existence to make such a mark. He was amazed that something – anything – still had the power to amaze.
It’s totally overused, but I wish that that wasn’t the case. I wish something amazing could amaze, not just something marginally out of the ordinary, but ah well…
I’m amazed every time I open my eyes and see the sun setting across the sea. It’s the way the fire dips into the water – reminds me of my own life, a little. The way my life is like this huge ocean of possibility, and I end up dousing all the life out of these who come into contact with me…
Maybe that’s overestimating my marker on the work.
Really, it just makes me think of him.
Because he’s the fire, and I’m the water, and I can’t not think of him like that. It’s how we came together, after all.
I can’t say what I amazes me more, that I can realize that I am or that I can realize that I am and still deny it. I mean the truth it the truth. It ‘s so impossible to escape it. I’m so afraid someone will prove it to me. oh no.
It’s snowing so hard I can’t see past the drive in front of the Caribou Coffee. I’m amazed. It’s a different world, and I can’t imagine a time it wasn’t snowing like this, so fiercely hard, like rain, so white, so insular, sounds muffled, cars sliding slowly toward wherever it is they’ve got to get to. I am amazed.
