  1. guitar. the first one I ever got. I wanted electric but acoustic was what my dad bought for me. It was black and beautiful and I named it Billy. Billy. Why Billy. I don’t know. I don’t care. I think it was meant to be a ‘girl’ billy…if inanaimate objects had genders.

  4. His acoustic guitar had two broken strings as he strummed on the street corner of Victoria, Canada. His tousled locks had snow specks in them from the early fall that November. The chords he struck called down more powder and called upon a crowd no bigger than a school of fish.

  5. She stands before you with all their hope and inspiration. Her fingers strum the cord and there is not better acoustic music than the music that is flowing out of her and onto the guitar.

  6. i think of guitar… like good music,, talented people who dont need anything else but their guitar. I think of the beach and playing an acoustic guitar on the beach around a fire with someone i really care about.. or a guy i really care about. I think of my friend matt.

  7. The guitar vibrates in my hands, humming with the sound. The music envelops me taking me out and away, to another world. The music takes form, color, I can see it, I am gone.

  8. He took the guitar and banged it on the ground like it was the most evil thing ever. “NOO!” screamed Keiko. “That’s my chicken.” Then, they took her, put her in a car, and drove her off to the insane asylum. She snuck to the recording studio and sang her own song. Acoustic, and the other.

  11. guitar sounds filling the room with a blast of music. Everyone hears from the same source. Facing one direction, while the sound faces every direction.

  12. It’s natural
    It comes naturally
    To his fingers
    As they strum
    To his strings
    As they sing his melody
    To his heart
    As he pours out
    All of the music
    Stored within.

  13. He handed me the acoustic guitar, even though he knew I couldn’t play.
He showed me how to play it and I tried my best. We had a great time because the whole time we were just laughing at the sound it was making.

  14. The sonic vibrations echo of the hand carved wood. Nothing ever sounded so sweet because of the care, the joy, the plain and simple love that was put into each slow, sloping curve.

  16. The acoustic in my home is very echoey as the ceilings are high, and the house is old. The sound travels easily all around.

  17. Acoustic is sound as soothing as the ocean. The rhythmic beats and melodies fill the soul with calmness and prosperity. The sound of a guitar simply calms the nerves and sooths the soul.

  18. Sonar Tech Johnson was puzzled by this acoustic signature. It was as if someone was popping popcorn, just underwater. It was jamming a very wide band, and it seemed to be getting louder.

  19. acoustic. lovely. when I think of acoustic, I think of beautiful pain and lost love and raw notes that are like a tunnel to the soul of a person. many acoustic songs tell of lost love and longing and dive deeper into the true meaning. when speaking of things that have so much feeling attached to it, all you need is the warm, raw vibrations and a voice and the ambience of a listening shadow

  20. I played for a while. But, I was more in love with my funny guitar teacher, Mr. Terri, than the instrument itself. After we moved, I never got another teacher, and now I can hardly play at all. Pretty tragic really. I wish I had kept it up, but now I lack the determination to start again.

  21. I once had an acoustic guitar, it made the most beautiful sound I could imagine. My brother bought it for me as a birthday gift and I was delighted to receive it. I wrote many songs with that acoustic guitar until one day I found it smashed in my room. Who would do such a terrible thing? I couldn’t believe it, I was heart broken.

  22. o som de nossas vozes numa tarde de outono
o som através dos raios de sol e partículas de poeira
    o quarto repleto

mais uma vez o som se perdeu para a tarde

  23. guitar, music, calming, i like this. sounds real to me – the energy of the person flows like this. no need for electronics, for this sounds natural and is the most beautiful. I’m not sure why people associate acoustic with anything but the absolute most postive – i think we should speak in acuoustics. the acoustics of a room make it.

  24. Best kind of music out there. You get up close and personal with the sound of the strings being strum. The singer’s voice is soul soothing and all you really want to do while listening is drink your cup of coffee and breathe deep.

  27. Strumming the strings
as they vibrate on my fingertips
    music streams out
    fills me with warmth
    fills me with music
    fills me with love

  28. It’s crazy how different a song sounds when it’s played acoustic. It’s like all of the editing, all of the false anticipation of music is simply let go, and the guitar, or the piano, replaces with real emotions that display the artists soul, in a way. Acoustic music brings out the true meaning in music

  29. the quiet strumming of his guitar in the next room is what woke me. I ventured out of bed, wrapped in dizzying layers of sheets and blankets, held together like a toga around my body. I gazed in and saw him on the floor, moving his hands slowly over that old guitar, the one he was playing the first time we met.

  35. I think of Pink Floyd Wish you Were here because that’s the only song they have that I can think of that has an acoustic guitar. Lyrics are going in my head right now. Love that song. Wish they had written more acoustic stuff, but oh well they’re still a good band. Peace!

  37. acoustic music is the art of playing without the accompaniment of an orchestra or band that has been electrified. acoustic artists perform in concert halls as well as local breweries and pubs. they incorporate a sense of inclusiveness for the audience.

  38. Acoustic is a term often applied to music and tone, but it is also a rhythm of life. One’s acoustic nature resonates through the experiences he/she has with people and interactions he/she has with the world. One’s acoustic c

  39. Acoustic – as opposed to electric. My husband sold his electric guitar in order to feed the family after we bought the house – and he will never forget it or forgive me for that (for what? for not becoming a prostitute?) – did he ever play it? No. Did I even know of its existence? No.

  40. i love acoustic! Yay! it’s the best! I have an acoustic guitar but acoustic also means sound and stuff not to do with instruments. like the acoustics of a room. sometimes in school they talk about acoustucs which is interesting enough but I mostly like the word, although i enjoy the concept
