I could smell the food cooking in the kitchen from the doorway. Thanksgiving is definitely here. Turkey fresh out of the oven, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, the whole shebang. Oh, how I love the holidays.
solution
There's got to be a solution to this problem. Actually, there is, but of course I'm trying to find my own solution, something that will somehow get me a more positive result. But it's impossible. Whatever happens now, I know that I have to move on. Sometimes you can fix things. But not always. Not this time, unless something changes.
forth
I hear His voice. "Go forth!" And it is both an inspiring call and a terrifying one. For how can I do this? I, the insignificant mortal that I am? But I know that His love is enough for all of this. It doesn't depend on me.
scene
The curtain of night set the scene. The sun had drifted beyond the horizon, and the geese were drifting on the lake in the twilight. The first of the stars shone in the sky, and the trees swayed softly in the wind. And in each other's arms, we smiled, and breathed in the cool fall air.
