dim
I couldn't actually see his face, it was as if through a dimmed light, as through a fog. "Is that really you", I whispered. I couldn't believe what had just happened. He had sneaked into my room slowly during the night, silent as a thief, and now was watching me while I was sleeping. How did I look? Was I drooling? Oh, gosh, why can't it just go like in movies? After I looked at the mirror, it was an even greater shock. Under no circumstances would I ever before let him see me like this, with my hair messed up and make up smudged all over my face. "I feel closer to you now, you know. Now that you've seen my ogre side. Yes. I definitely feel much closer to you now. And that's good, right?" - he looked back with a surprised glance. "You're as crazy as a betsy bug. But that might be why I love you."
marble
Just like little marbles, rain drops were rolling down the window and onto the floor. I miss him. Through these marbles I could see people. They are all living their lives normally. Their lives go on, unlike mine. Forsaken in this empty house, I was waiting for someone (be that someone death, I don't mind) to come and take notice of me.
