I used to have a trophy for reading (can you say NERD?!). But then I think we got rid of all of them after I got to high school, unless my mom still has them stashed away in the endless tub of "Laura's cute schoolwork and achievements."
Sticks. The most vivid memory I have of sticks? The scar on my foot. When I was little, a stick came up in my yard and scraped along my foot and tore into my skin deep enough to scar. Then again, I scar so easily a mosquito bite leaves a mark for months.
Cigarette's are disgusting. They smell, they rot your body, and they age you. Yet everyone from the glamorous celebrity to the wife-beater wearing trailer trash man smokes them. Hopefully the new labels full of the dangers of smoking will help people quit.
